PolandOur stay at Maison Brinati was absolutely fantastic. Hosts are very friendly, we were offered a fantastic breakfast with fresh cappuccino and eggs every morning, and a room was cozy and nice. The location is very good both for relaxing at the pool and for sightseeing a northern part of Tuscany.

United StatesLocated in a small town with several restaurants to choose from. A delightful weekly market. The hosts were very welcoming and recommended several places of interest within an easy drive or short train ride. A short drive and we arrive in Monticatini, where you can catch a train to just about anywhere. Villa Ada is located on a main street
thru the town; my daughter needed earplugs to sleep undisturbed, however, I slept soundly thru the night without any problems.The accommodations were great, very roomy and comfortable. Beds (3) were all comfortable; we slept well. Large bathroom with a shower, separate bathtub. Tea was available in the room, and coffee was available downstairs (espresso machine). Breakfast included fresh croissants, in a communal kitchen. Absolutely loved this beautiful old building! High ceilings, a large entry hall, wide staircase, and a private outdoor dining area off the kitchen. Highly recommend Villa Ada.

Excellent location.
Excellent location. Florence is an hour's drive away, Vinci (a beautiful town where Leonardo was born, with a couple of superb museums) about 25 minutes drive, Pisa and Lucca also within a 45-minutes drive away.

Monsummano is an interesting town with a history I do not...
Monsummano is an interesting town with a history I do not feel I explored enough.There is a museum and a library that I would have liked to have visted, but I enjoyed walking around and drinking coffees here and there. Only one decent restaurant as far as I could find - the Sotto Grotta in the Piazza Giusta ... but I could cook for myself (once I found the sumpermarket) and all in all it has a lovely feel with pleasing architecture.

Everything was perfect. I have been here before so I knew that Paula and Antonio leave no stone unturned in ensuring that we feel welcome. They appeared as soon as we arrived and showed us how everything worked (how I like to meet real people rather than being sent a whats-apped video ...). It is a lovely place in a quiet corner of Monsummano with elegant old furniture, olive trees in the garden and a well-equipped kitchen. And when we left Antonio not only kindly took us to the train station - but returned with a jacket we had left behind.

The views from terrace is overwhelming. A cup of coffee tastes even better because of this. The house is quite large and 2 bathrooms wwhich 1 is very large. It is located on the 2nd floor accessible via a wide staircase and 2 entrance gates. The view from the windows is also fantastic. The village of Montevettolini where the house is located on top of the hill is idyllic with an old church. There is a bar, but open to a limited extent. No tourism.
The host Roberto is very friendly and speaks fluent Dutch as well as Italian and English.

Everything, in a word.
My satnav tried to get me to turn into the No Entry for the last few metres: this is Italy - so .....! I hadn't quite understood the self check in instructions, but a lady showed me how to get in, and the underground garage for the moto. And a lift: wonderful!
Very well appointed and spacious apartment with everything needed supplied. Very useful bits and pieces in the kitchen cupboard. Comfy bed, and quite the softest bath towel I have ever used! Thank you for everything.

Light Italian breakfast, great coffee, plenty of it. Accommodating to our requests.
Lucia was up early accommodating our requests, kids offered to help and were appreciated.
Cakes, prosciutto, cheese, jams, butter and breads available.
