Located inside this beautiful park, around 9km from Slovenian border, also surrounded by many hiking trails. The owners are very nice and food was amazing. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. After long hours of hiking and climbing you just come back to the hotel and relax with good food. You can wakeup looking at beautiful green mountains and go to sleep watching stars. Highly recommend this place, you can also get to enjoy some of their family recipes for lunch and dinner. They are also very knowledgeable about the hikes and things to do in the park, so they can help you with planning your hikes.

We stayed for 4 nights, and we enjoyed every one of them. There is a beautiful view of the vineyards around the property, and lots of great local wineries to visit very close by. Laura, was a great host, and gave us lots of recommendations for places to see, and restaurants to try around the area. Breakfast was great every morning, and the room was very clean and comfortable during our stay. We did day trips around the area, and it is very easy to get around, and the sea is about a 1 hour drive away from the accommodation. Laura booked a wine tasting for us at a local winery about 5 mins walking from accommodation, and we got to try wonderful local wines and learn about the history of the area. Definitely recommend staying here!
