United KingdomOne of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! Is the definition of a boutique hotel - only 10 rooms so service feels incredibly personalised and thoughtful. Breathtaking pool with beautiful views. All food and drink at the property is natural and/or made at the hotel (they even make their own aperol!) rooms super clean , we loved using the gym, had fantastic massages (and they turned the sauna on for us afterwards). Highly recommend having a picnic on the grounds of the hotel which they organise and prepare depending on your tastes! Overall beautiful trip - we will be back. Thank you to everyone that looked after us.

This isn’t an area of Tuscany that I have visited before.
This isn’t an area of Tuscany that I have visited before. It is less picture perfect than say Siena or San Gim but more interesting for that. It’s like visiting a market town rather than a medieval city. Plenty to explore and lovely scenery. I did see a train but we had a car.

The scenery in this area is beautiful - all villas are very special situation on hillsides with glorious views and tranquility.
The town is a small, working town, not a tourist attraction. It is not as special as some of the ancient Tuscan towns, but this means it is less busy. Not many choices of restaurants, just basic pizza, but enough local produce is available to cook in the peace of the apartments at all the villas.

This was the most amazing and unique stay of our 3 weeks in Italy.
It is run by 3 generations of family. All very passionate about providing an outstanding experience to guests.
Felt like home from the moment we arrived.
We'll be back with the rest of our family.
The property is located a few minutes away from the town of Monteroni d'Arbia. Most importanly it is so central to visit Siena, Montepuliciano, Pienza, San Quirico d'orca and Montalcino and the hot springs at Bagno San Filippo.

We were very pleased.
We were very pleased. The host and hostess were so welcoming and patient with us despite our inability to speak Italian. Very gracious. They gave us a great recommendation to the winery, Santa Giulia winery—wine very much in keeping with our taste, a great education in wine making in the region from our hostess. Santa Giulia is a winery run by a beautiful family upholding a multi generational tradition. We drank wine to children laughing throwing water balloons. Il Canto di Sole treated us well and fed us like family. Very high praises.

Stunning tranquil place in Tuscany. Old traditional style building . Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Food was delicious in the restaurant , drinks on the terrace so beautiful.

So quiet, the most amazing views. 20 min from Siena. Amazing road through the Tuscany landscape from Arezzo to Siena. The place is great, with a common kitchen area with all the basics, a big fridge to store your stuff, delicious coffee on the house. Cristina is so kind, really the best stay of our road trip. Beds are comfortable, rooms spacious, they added foldable bed for our son.

Lovliest staff . We loved our stay , warm and cosy you can have a drink anytime. Our room was large enough ...the wall was heated , we were here in December. Siena was 15 minute drive and a fantastic day out. Great restaurants nearby and next door . 10/10 . Great value for $$
