Mottola is off the beaten track. It's not a tourist town.
Mottola is off the beaten track. It's not a tourist town. It has an attractive setting and views, a nice town square and a small historic area but don't expect Siena or Gallipoli. We went there as a base for exploring the local country and the cave churches (book local tours and guides early). There were lots of locals and good food at the pizzeria La Rotonda di Donvito Addolorata - recommended.

Francesco is a really friendly Host. Everything was perfect. The Villa is in the middle of nowhere… which we really enjoyed. You need a car… but weithin 15-30 Drive You can reach very beautyful villages and cities like Alberobello, Martina Franca, Mottola, … visit Castella Grotte is also highly recommended. Would come back everytime…

Very nice property, clean with a lot of facilities. Area was quiet, parking is free on the streets nearby. The owners are very nice and understanding people, they reply quickly and are very helpful. We had a very nice stay, mottola is a very nice, i recommend.

Relais Lali was a beautiful hotel and felt like a home away from home. It's in a quiet part of the countryside and a good escape from the busy cities. It's about 45 mins from Bari and 1 hour from Monopoli. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this hotel and Carmen the desk clerk was amazing. She booked us in at a local restaurant and gave us a mini tour guide of things to see in the town. The rooms were large with a lovely balcony overlooking the area.
