Nice small hotel within a walking distance from the old city. We were greeted personally by the owner on arrival. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. A bottle of water in the fridge was a nice extra. Parking is possible for free on the street (although it is very difficult to find a place). We eventually left our car at the paid parking (6 euro per 24 hours) nearby (5 minutes walk)

Amazing pool and beautiful pear cacti. So close to the beach, wonderful bike ride into Otranto. The food was amazing. Everyone was so nice. Very relaxing.

We really loved this hotel. The pool and grounds were beautiful; our room was well-equipped and comfortable; and our two breakfasts and two dinners were superb. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. I hope we have an opportunity to return someday. The hotel is minutes away from the seaside town of Otranto, which has a splendid cathedral and castle. We also took a coastal walk a few kilometers south of the hotel, which we enjoyed very much.

The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating from check in to wait staff. The hotel is an authentic maritime museum of the proprietor’s collection. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast delicious. We loved the courtyard, rooftop, and the restaurant. Food was exceptional. Superb location near castellated and marina. Excellent parking facility directly across the street.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! The kitchen and all amenities are as reflected and more. Parking is on the road, which can get rather busy over the weekend. I would highly recommend this place as the perfect getaway, easily accessible via regional highways and roads.

Otranto is a fantastic town.

Otranto is a fantastic town. It makes a really good base to explore Southern Puglia. The Beaches are sandy and the sea is very shallow, great for little ones. Lots of good restaurants, cafes and bars through the town. The old town is especially nice in the evening when lit up. Overall a great choice for either a few days on the beach or as a touring base for a little longer.

We only saw a little bit because members of our party had mobility issues, but the parts we did see looked gorgeous, and it would have been nice to have a good wander round the small town for an afternoon. We were also encouraged to come see the weekly Wednesday market in the early morning: we couldn't make it but a local lady told us that it was the best way to get a true feel for the place. Be careful with driving and parking: there are pedestrian only zones close to the town centre and free parking only further out.

Great location for a relaxed stay.

Great location for a relaxed stay. If you are after a party town then this is NOT it. But to take some time to wander the old town, enjoy lazy days on the beach, and sample delicious food then highly recommended.

Visited during Easter holidays.

Visited during Easter holidays. We found an interesting mix of old (the historic centre is great!) and new (on Sunday evening there were at least 2 locations with live DJ music where lots of young people were dancing and enjoying the moments while in the morning there was no one in those areas - it was like two opposite faces of the same small town). Thea beaches are sandy with clear turquoise water.

In the morning we were awakened by the smell of freshly prepared food including delicious pasticciotto and much more! The best breakfast we had in Puglia!The owners, led by Mrs. Nana, are extremely kind, I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their warm hospitality - it's a pity we didn't have more time to spend with them!I have no words to thank them because they made me want to visit their beautiful Otranto again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bellavista and its location close the the old town is very nice. Also the private parking is very good and at a reasonable cost. The staff is great. A special thank you to the very friendly server of the breakfast! We also enjoyed the beaches closeby and Otranto provided a good place to explore the area up to Lecce and down to Santa Maria de Leuca. Chris & Sandra

We really enjoyed our stay. Although we didn’t particularly fancy Otranto, we really appreciated the calm and cosy surrounding of BluOtranto. The pool was a real gem. The staff was really friendly, the bed was really comfortable, the room was perfectly clean and the breakfast was good (they had the best croissant 🥐 we’ve had in Italy 🇮🇹 so far). Thank you to the entire team !!!

We had a brilliant time here. The staff were very efficient and pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. These were the best breakfasts that we had during our whole stay in Puglia (16 days 6 different locations). The pool and grounds were lovely. Handy location to get in and out of Otranto.
