This hotel is situated in the most beautiful spot. San Miniato feels like you’re stepping back in time, it’s absolutely beautiful. The hotel receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel actually looked a little dated online, but once you’re there you realise it’s simply very Tuscan in style - understated, traditional, and full of character. Everything was immaculately clean, and the air conditioning worked brilliantly, which was much appreciated after long walks in the heat. If you’re looking for bright lights and ultra-modern luxury like Dubai, this probably isn’t for you. But if you want an authentic, traditional Tuscan experience full of charm and history, it’s perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here.

A truely well kept secret in the heart of Tuscany.

A truely well kept secret in the heart of Tuscany. Ethan’s Bar is across the road to this Airbnb. Great cocktails. Also a few steps out of the door are a variety of fabulous restaurants. There is also a good walk up to the two towers on the hill and easy access to the Via Francigena walk. Located on the ground floor of the Tower di Frederico - is a Michelin rest. And a very nice guy runs the Cycle rental / tour shop. Love this village.

Fabulous restaurants! All rather small, so would book. Very quiet old town with wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside. Perfectly situated for visiting Pisa and Florence by train. Would recommend a wine tasting locally at Beconcini.

Breakfast was good. Service for coffee was slow. We let the hotel know it was our 10 year anniversary and that we had held our pre wedding dinner there for 50 people. I was disappointed there was no message in our room or amenity. We also had a very plain room. It would have been a lovely gesture to have upgraded us. We work in travel and know how important these things are.
