The location was off the main highway, which was important to us. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were tired and had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant which was so nice. The outdoor patio for drinks were nice, and the gardens around the property were very well maintained.

The hotel is a very nice property. The apartments and suites is a couple of buildings away and from the outside, the place looks abandoned. But, once you are inside the building, the entrance, hallways, and rooms are all top notch. They were newly renovated, modern, and very clean and comfortable. This building is unstaffed, as the staff is over at the hotel a few door down. The staff was very helpful. We had a minor issue with the a/c and a staff member was there in a few minutes to help resolve. She was apologetic for the issue and very kind. We also took the 8 Euro breakfast option at the hotel. Everything was plentiful and yummy! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The house itself is an unexpected piece of genuine antiquity. Part of it are 800 years old. We loved the rural setting and the peace there, despite being so handy to the motorway. The host was friendly and informative. The whole area was a large Roman centre and there are archeological excavations in progress.
