The terrasse was an amazing place to stay for a couple of nights while exploaring Sermoneta! Salvatore was extremely helpful with all we could need help with. Parking, restaurant recs, tourist attractions nearby - everything. He was very welcoming and had prepared small gifts upon arrival. It’s a very sweet, personal and private room with a LOVELY terrace and the ~VIEW~ to die for!!

In the middle of the ancient city where everything is reasonable to get to. Insude it's relatively modern and they even had some welcome cake for me. The bedroom was large and comfortable.

The host is warm. The house is lovely, the room is big and comfortable. It's our first experience of Italian breakfast. We like it. Though the room is on the upper floor, but the host help us carry the luggages up and down. Overall it is a very good experience.

Sermoneta is a mediaeval hill town, perched above what once...

Sermoneta is a mediaeval hill town, perched above what once were the Pontine marshes. The town is very carefully preserved. Tourists' cars are not allowed inside the town walls (although locals' vehicles cruise with impunity). The town is a popular tourist destination, so certainly does not qualify as an undiscovered gem. But the popularity yields quite a few good restaurants and cafes. We particularly enjoyed the butcher-shop-cum-restaurant just above the town square.

Sermoneta is beautiful - fabulous stone buildings and immense charm. Great restaurant called 'The Ghost' at the top of the hill. The streets are very steep so you need to like walking. A quiet and lovely place to visit.
