The suite was beautiful, large, comfortable, clean and the location can’t be beat! Situated between the main square and the palace it was easy to get around and see everything! The front desk let us leave our bags early before check in so we could explore the city without them, and the restaurant recommendations were perfect! Everyone was super friendly, helpful and accommodating! I would definitely stay here again! Hopefully with a little more time so we could take advantage of the beautiful spa next time!!

The hotel was in a former villa with an attractive sitting room and dining room and a little roof terrace. It was quiet, with a beautiful view of hills and trees but within easy reach of the centre of town. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Palazzo Ducale is a miracle of architecture.

The Palazzo Ducale is a miracle of architecture. I spent over 7 hours inside. The Duomo has three good Barocci paintings and there is another one in San Francesco I loved the two Oratories, particularly the one dedicated to Saint John the Baptist with exceptional frescoes. I enjoyed a quiet sit in the shade in the botanic gardens Otherwise it was wandering around the city walls and up the steep hill to the fortress and park for incredible views. La Trattoria del Leone was so good I went there twice . I also enjoyed a delicious green apple sorbet from the central icecream store.

Urbino is a beautiful town that is best explored on foot, but beware that being on a hill top, everywhere is up hill or down hill. The Palazzo Ducale is an artwork in itself, and houses some magnificent paintings, tapestries and sculptures. You cannot do the Palazzo justice in one visit. The Piazza Della Republica sits at the town centre between the two high points. It contains cafes where you can sit and relax, and sooner or later someone you know will walk past.

Urbino is fascinating because it is built on a mountain. The buildings are all old, but wonderfully updated. The ducal Palace is fabulous. One must be aware that the streets are all old brick and most are uphill or downhill. Very little is flat--just some of the piazzas.

Urbino is a quaint medeival town with some nice galleries and historic views. We would have liked to seen more of the historic university (from 1506) but didn't see anything organized. Also, the vibe of the town felt depressing as there was little activity...maybe because it was Easter weekend but many other hilltop towns are much more lively (i.e. Montepulciano).

Urbino is an interesting city with wonderfull buildings and art collections to explore. Built in light terra cotta stone it looks fabulous in the evening sun and is small enought to get around easily. Excellent restaurants and bars and not overcroded by tourists - in September at any rate - we would highly recommend it.

The city is not easy to figure out how to get into or park a car. But if you're only staying for the day, park at any entrance near the walled city and just walk around town. Amazing. We have traveled in Italy many times (14+) and Urbino is one of the most fascinating ancient hill towns we have seen - and the largest. The whole Marche region is great because there are relatively few tourists and the countryside is breathtakingly beautiful.

We loved how peaceful Ca' Andreana was. We needed a place to rest and recuperate, with the lovely Urbino nearby, and this Agriturismo was perfect. We were so excited to see the pool with a beautiful view behind. The breakfast was free and delicious (and a lot of it!) and we loved our lunch and dinners there too. The friendliness of the staff working there stood out the most. I would definitely stay again.

Cute lite place located at the end of a tiny picturesque alleyway in the heart of Urbino old town. Very clean minimal bedroom, delicious abundant breakfast with lots of local organic food, nice staff, easy self check in. Close to some of the least touristic spots for shopping and dining and very close to the main artistic attractions.

A wonderful hotel just in front of Palazzo Ducale. Comfy, big beds, nice rooms, good breakfasts. And an absolute amazingly friendly staff who guided me with a smile while driving through Urbino to the very very centrum (as my GPS went crazy). Thank you, thank you! I felt very welcomed! Hope to see you again!
