The Booking App selection was for the whole property, which essentially was the whole house. More than enough space for a family. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the stay tremendously. I was completing the Ohenro pilgrimage. Great location for Temple 87 and a nice starting point to get up to Temple 88.

Such a cozy & welcoming space with tons of little touches! The guest house staff were lovely and made sure I knew where to find everything. They had a really nice common area with tea, snacks, miso soup for free as well as snacks & cups of noodle soup to buy and a nice little kitchen that everyone could use. The rooms are small but clean, well equipped and contain everything you need. I also really appreciated that they had a locker outside to use for free for pilgrims hiking up to temple 88 - such a kind gesture and perfect for those like me who needed somewhere to leave their large backpacks while making the steep climb up to 88.

We had the best time at the house! It was beautifully and thoughtful decorated and had the prettiest Japanese Garden one could only imagine. Also the owner was extremely kind and welcomed us super warmly. Also she gave us a long list with recommendations so we could enjoy the stunning surrounding nature, culture and food. I really want to come back and can totally recommend a stay! :)
