A great little hotel for those staying on Innoshima. My room was clean and well equipped, and the breakfast and staff were delightful.

The meals were amazing, very traditional and beautiful. The view from the room was outstanding, and it was a pleasure to stay there. We were on the way of Shimanami Kaido, and indeed the last bit is very challenging (I just walked my bike), but the views are worth it.

Love the location - proximity to JR Station and intended attractions within walking distance. Ground floor restaurant serving breakfast is small but absolutely functional - breakfast spread is good. Also used the laundry room which was well maintained and very clean.

The view is excellent! The staff is great! The rest of the whole property is simple and basic which serves the purpose for a couple nights of staying.

Beautiful, clean, spacious room. Especially appreciated the electric kettle for my tea and the mini fridge for my milk. Also appreciated the last minute availability when rainy weather cut short our e-biking on Shimanami Kaido.

The staff was very attentive and kind, it certainly surpassed my expectations. The location was good and there is a convenience store next to it. Also as a cyclist, I liked that there was parking for bikes.

Very convenient location close to the station and bile rental places. Great starting or finishing point for the Shimanami Kaido. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller but that isn’t uncommon for Japanese hotels. The hotel seems to have been renovated recently. Everything had a new feel to it and there was no smell of smoke or anything like some of the reviews from a couple of months ago said.

Right across from the start (or end) of the Shimanami Kaido. The bike rental is just across the street and the Onomichi train station is a 5 min walk away. Smaller room but good enough for my wife and I for 3 nights. Even if you're not doing the Shimanami Kaido, Onomichi is such a treat of a town. Definitely go up the ropeway to the top of the mountain. Gorgeous scenery! My wife and I would stay here again, great location!

Huge and spacious and in a very quiet residential area. Only a 10 min walk to the town centre. Great for a cycling trip.

We loved this place: it was probably the nicest (and most spacious) room during our 4-week journey in Japan. The staff was very friendly. The bar/kitchen staff was exceptionally nice and prepared the best coffee we got in Japan. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast set was also delicious. We stayed one night in Onomichi as a starting point for the biking tour Shimanami Kaido, and we can only recommend it.
