The apartments are clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchen. Rooms are cleaned daily, drinking water is provided, the pool is spotless, and the staff respond quickly and kindly. The location is ideal, close to the beach, supermarket, and plenty of eateries on Diani Beach Road. With tuk-tuks always available, getting around is simple. Diani Beach is awesome. Great beaches, good food. Transport readily available - be prepared to negotiate and try not to get ripped off. I've been there several times. I've stayed at "Diamonds", "Baobab", "The Blue Water", and "Jo Baobab's apartments". I liked Jo's apartments as they were 5 minute from beach with security, parking, spacious, well maintained, fully equipped, and significantly cheaper than the hotels on the beach - by at least 50%. On the beach I hung out at the Blue Marlin for the beach/bar/restaurant on the beach vibe.

Easy to get around with Tut Tut's as they park outside...

Easy to get around with Tut Tut's as they park outside hotels/shops etc. Wherever you stay always get an idea of price of tut tut drivers to/from as some of them will rip you off. Hidden Gem is Africa Pool - check it out. For the adventurous there is a climb down not for the faint hearted and certainly no health and safety. We did live dangerously. You can choose the more flat route but not wheelchair accessible. No facilities but you do not even need as the place is mesmerising. 2-3 hours. If your coming from Diani Airport there is a wonderful local restaurant called Baali Diani Airport, (same owner). Definitely worth a visit, call ahead for specific, alcohol drinks, or the huge fish platter.

Because the problem I didn't get the house the one I was supposed to get, I told you already once and she gave me another house. It was very, very bad, very dirty. It was horrible, it was behind completely. She didn't tell me anything about this one. Just give me a room number one, and then she just it was not common. It was not my mistake. She was not there, anyway, I went to the to the gate and they gave me this key. I went to the room. There's nothing my mistake

Its a nice place with a beautiful beach with clear blue water. Water in the apartments are however salty, I assume its because of the beach surrounding the area. Food and activities are expensive around this area.

Ukunda is a great place to visit with family and also...

Ukunda is a great place to visit with family and also friends.The best place to watch the sunset on Kongo river and the beach is clean with white sand. We very much enjoyed each morning watching the monkeys jump around in the trees surrounding us Also amazing food at the estuary with very good price and friendly customer service. Overall : A beautiful 👌🏾 , friendly and peaceful place to be.

Ukunda itself is full of different kind of problems, but if...

Ukunda itself is full of different kind of problems, but if we specifically talk about Diani, situation is different. Seaview access hotels are in general above average except, Flamboyant, Safari Beach and Seabreeze of which have many issues. Pricing 80$ to 500$ US. Then in Galu beach lies horrible trap places like this ghastly Coconut Village with incompetent teenagers left as managers. The second strip hotels are passable with pricing 35$ to 120$, but usually lack service ability and professional staff. The beach is very beautiful, but people around hotels hustling bring the experience down even bad.

Very cozy, clean and good vibes place. We had breakfast and other meals there and everything was super delicious. All staff members were very nice, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Fikiri for even getting us comfortable and budget friendly transportation to Mombasa and Malindi. We would absolutely stay there again!

The owner amazing! Lovely and super easy going. The flat has everything you need for a stay, it's like staying at home. Big supermarket close, so you can buy everything. Around 20 mom from the beach and 15 mm from the town.
