Our one-week stay at Inn Sea Horizon in Ahungalla, Sri Lanka, was exceptional. Silva and his family's warm hospitality, coupled with the stunning views, excellent service, and delicious food, made it an unforgettable experience. The villa's cleanliness, proximity to beautiful beaches, and Silva's attentive management exceeded our expectations. Children felt like they stayed at close relatives. They wrestled exited to see monkeys jumping from tries to tree in harden and feeding them bananas. Thank you for a fantastic and value-for-money stay. Distance to Ahunalla beach 250m (6 mins walk), private beach 200m (5 mins walk), Kasgoda beach (500m, 15 walk via Buddhist monastery via mountains, steep steps), Turtle Hatching - the same direction as Kasgoda (600m), Nearest Restaurant and bars 250 meters (international cards cads accepted), if buy anything restaurant - sun bet on the beach, cheers, table, tent will be for free.
Nearest Grocery 900m - international cads accepted (15min by walk), Wineshop 1km (seeing a tourist they raise the price twice - ask show the price as it’s government shops, ask for a check).

Everything was clean and well organized. The breakfast buffet was great, the dinner buffet was so good, so many varieties including freshly grilled prawns. I am definitely coming back.

Absolutely best value in the area! This villa makes you feel like in your own house, while being located at a reasonable distance to the sea (2-3 min walk), provides lots of options to rest on premises - sun beds, balcony terrace with chairs and a soft shaded area Family which runs it is extremely accomodating, helpful and happy to help you with anything you want. Breakfast is small, but served like it was a European 4-star hotel. And finally, well-baked toasts! So I would call it fabulous

Like Visiting Family — Warm, Welcoming, and Truly Special From the very first moment I arrived, I was met with such kindness and warmth — it honestly felt like I was visiting relatives, not checking into a hotel. The atmosphere is cozy and full of heart, and the staff make it unforgettable. One of the lovely girls who welcomed me felt like a little sister — so sweet and genuine. I don’t remember her name, but I’ll never forget her energy and kindness. When I was leaving, we even hugged goodbye. It felt like leaving family behind. The manager was simply amazing — kind, thoughtful, and very professional. And the chef! He personally came out to check if I enjoyed the food (which I absolutely did — the seafood was insanely delicious). You can feel that they all truly care. Everyone smiles here. Everyone is friendly. And the vibe is something I’ll carry with me. I’m already dreaming of coming back — again and again.

Wonderful last few days in Sri Lanka. Hotel is in a great location, just 1.5 hours from airport and 1 hour from Galle. Owner is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make our stay perfect.

We were originally planning to stay for 3 nights, and ended up staying a total of 10 days. It was appropriate fir my 2 year old, we switched between the rooms, we had 2 beach front rooms and this was very convenient with a kid, as i didnt have to carry a big bag for all my stuff, the room was right there. Pool is super clean. The beach view is just breathtaking. We saw dolphins, the hotel staff, came to our room once to tell us to come see the dolphins. Each room gets its own small garden, so during rainy days we would stay inside, and my kid would play in the garden. The rooms are very clean. The staff is just amazing! Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Pool guard got me a fresh aloe vera from his house to put on my skin after being sunburnt. We really felt comfortable. The front desk lady is an amazing women, elegant, sweet and helpful
