The stay at Ananda Rest Ella was absolutely peaceful! I woke up to the sweet chirping of birds, and the breakfast was amazing. The weather was a bit chilly and misty, which made it feel extra special. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!..😊

Tea Hills Ella is a fabulous mountain retreat with absolutely amazing views. It’s peaceful and away from the hustle of Ella town, yet just a short (and free!) tuk-tuk ride away whenever you want to head in. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and incredibly helpful—arranging transportation for us to nearby tea factories and making everything easy. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully served on our private patio.

We recently stayed at Okeed Villa for one night, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the villa, perfect for a relaxing night. The Okeed Villa offered a great value for the price.

The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day, making sure everything was clean and organized. The hotel facilities were also impressive. The environment was calm, safe, and perfect for both relaxing and enjoying a vacation. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the dining area had a very pleasant ambiance. What stood out the most was the hospitality. Every staff member I met was friendly, polite, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. Their service truly made the stay memorable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

I chose Kithal Ella Station Resort, and honestly, it was an amazing place with a beautiful view. The location is great, and the railway station is within walking distance. The food was very tasty, and the chef prepared everything perfectly. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time there. Ella Rock is very close to the property, and there is also a small waterfall nearby where we enjoyed a refreshing waterfall bath. The view is stunning, and the place is very calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The room was very clean, the bathroom was excellent, and all the room facilities were very comfortable. Breakfast was arranged in the room with a beautiful view. It was a wonderful experience having breakfast while watching the train pass by. The manager ( owner Ayesh ) were very supportive and even helped us arrange our train ride, which became a memorable experience for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. The price we paid was very reasonable, and the service was excellent.

A must stay! Everything was great. Dave and his staff were always very communicative, responsive and flexible. The place itself is super comfortable and has AMAZING views. It is overlooking the Kithal ella train station and you get to see the trains pass by every few hours until the evenings - a delightful experience. The location is at max 10 minutes away from Ella town by tuk-tuk and particularly convenient if hiking Ella rock or visiting Little Ravana falls. What made the experience unforgettable is Rangana and Dilshan, the on site staff at the hotel. They were very sweet and helpful and took good care of us, even providing us with some valuable recommendations for local activities. The freshly made breakfast was delicious - perhaps some of the best meals we had in Srilanka! We hope to visit here again

I had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cottage in Ella. The cottage has a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere with stunning mountain views that make it a perfect place to relax. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were well maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Had an incredible stay at Ella Trail Luxury Villa up in the hillside with beautiful luscious views and a cool overview of the train track which you can walk down to get to Ella town. Askana and Suranga we’re wonderful hosts and couldn’t be more accommodating for us helping us to arrange transportation and always there ready for whatever we needed. I would definitely stay here again even though it is a little further out but the views are unreal and the Property is beautiful with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the scenery..

Excellent secluded oasis with caring hosts! We chose this hotel while traveling from Weligama to Ella, looking for seclusion and closeness to nature. Despite the small number of reviews, our choice was fully justified! Everything in the room is new, very clean, and tidy. All essentials are provided, including a hairdryer (the only minor wish for the future is possibly adding a wardrobe for clothes). The bed linen is clean and changed regularly. Amazing breakfasts and a wonderful view from the balcony created an excellent mood. Special thanks to the very caring hosts, who are always ready to help (for example, with calling a taxi). A small note for future guests: Getting to the entrance by private transport is non-standard — it's convenient to leave the car by the railway and walk for 2 minutes. The hosts will explain everything in detail. I recommend this hotel to those who value quiet, newness, cleanliness, and sincere hospitality.
