I had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cottage in Ella. The cottage has a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere with stunning mountain views that make it a perfect place to relax. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were well maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

It ıs almost top of the Ella. View is gorgeous. Hotel is clean price is good. Staffs are so cute and kind. Thank to Wichi he is the best staff ever.

The location of the hotel is very good. We were quickly in the city and at the train station. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast.

Had an incredible stay at Ella Trail Luxury Villa up in the hillside with beautiful luscious views and a cool overview of the train track which you can walk down to get to Ella town. Askana and Suranga we’re wonderful hosts and couldn’t be more accommodating for us helping us to arrange transportation and always there ready for whatever we needed. I would definitely stay here again even though it is a little further out but the views are unreal and the Property is beautiful with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the scenery..

I had a great experience at The Pinnacle Ella. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, one of the highlights of my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also had lunch at the hotel, and really enjoyed the food. I had read some reviews mentioning issues with the Wi-Fi, but during my stay, it worked perfectly fine. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella.

Brand New property in Central area of Ella

Tea Hills Ella is a fabulous mountain retreat with absolutely amazing views. It’s peaceful and away from the hustle of Ella town, yet just a short (and free!) tuk-tuk ride away whenever you want to head in. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and incredibly helpful—arranging transportation for us to nearby tea factories and making everything easy. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully served on our private patio.

What a view!!! We were in awe as soon as we reached the guesthouse. The balcony and the view that comes with it is just spectacular.You will get such an amazing service, location and room for the price. All the necessary amenities were provided in Onestar (which in most guesthouses with this price don’t provide). Staff is so nicr and helpful. They carried our luggage down the stairs when we arrived and helped us solve a minor situation. They served nice, classic breakfast and we had it on our balcony with the view!

I valued the serenity and the views the most! The views are stunning. This place is such a gem. The room was spacious and well fit out, the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the walk down to the small village, the untouched by tourists tea plantations and the encounters with the locals. The drive to the accommodation may be viewed as 'bumpy' by some, but for me it was part of the adventure. I loved everything about this place!

In the evening, the sunset is beautiful, with a view of a tea plantation, a beautiful temple, a railway station, and a train passing by.

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s a small property — only 11 rooms — and sits a little away from the busy Ella town, which honestly makes it a better choice if you want some peace after a day of hiking. The place is quite new, opened only in January 2026, but you wouldn’t feel anything lacking. The rooftop view is stunning, especially in the morning and evening. Breakfast on the second day was a highlight — proper Sri Lankan spread with string hoppers, egg hoppers and more. Delicious. The pool is a great way to unwind after the Ella hikes, and the staff were attentive throughout. Mr. Surang and Mr. Saman in particular stood out — always around, always helpful, never had to ask twice. Overall a good experience - especially staff.
