The stay at Ananda Rest Ella was absolutely peaceful! I woke up to the sweet chirping of birds, and the breakfast was amazing. The weather was a bit chilly and misty, which made it feel extra special. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!..😊

Rawana Mount View Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The mountain views are stunning, and the hotel’s unique design makes it special. We really enjoyed the village tour with Mr. Blom the short hike to Eagle Rock Mountain gave us breathtaking views. The Upper Rawana natural pool was another highlight bathing there was so refreshing! We also loved the cooking activities, which gave us a real taste of Sri Lankan flavors. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. This hotel is a true hidden gem surrounded by nature, paddy fields, and local culture, away from the busy city life. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

Excellent views and location. Hired a scooter to hit the towns and the tea plantation which wasn’t too far! All in all, one of my favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka. Great for a solo and I image it would be an incredible stay with a partner.

We recently stayed at Okeed Villa for one night, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the villa, perfect for a relaxing night. The Okeed Villa offered a great value for the price.

It was a wonderful stay and the staff is really friend and helpful. The Food was excellent. 👌

I chose Kithal Ella Station Resort, and honestly, it was an amazing place with a beautiful view. The location is great, and the railway station is within walking distance. The food was very tasty, and the chef prepared everything perfectly. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time there. Ella Rock is very close to the property, and there is also a small waterfall nearby where we enjoyed a refreshing waterfall bath. The view is stunning, and the place is very calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The room was very clean, the bathroom was excellent, and all the room facilities were very comfortable. Breakfast was arranged in the room with a beautiful view. It was a wonderful experience having breakfast while watching the train pass by. The manager ( owner Ayesh ) were very supportive and even helped us arrange our train ride, which became a memorable experience for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella. The price we paid was very reasonable, and the service was excellent.

Tea Hills Ella is a fabulous mountain retreat with absolutely amazing views. It’s peaceful and away from the hustle of Ella town, yet just a short (and free!) tuk-tuk ride away whenever you want to head in. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and incredibly helpful—arranging transportation for us to nearby tea factories and making everything easy. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully served on our private patio.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The check-in process was smooth and quick, which made the start of my stay very comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, the beautiful interior design, and the peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to relax completely. The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day, making sure everything was clean and organized. The hotel facilities were also impressive. The environment was calm, safe, and perfect for both relaxing and enjoying a vacation. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the dining area had a very pleasant ambiance. What stood out the most was the hospitality. Every staff member I met was friendly, polite, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. Their service truly made the stay memorable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

A must stay! Everything was great. Dave and his staff were always very communicative, responsive and flexible. The place itself is super comfortable and has AMAZING views. It is overlooking the Kithal ella train station and you get to see the trains pass by every few hours until the evenings - a delightful experience. The location is at max 10 minutes away from Ella town by tuk-tuk and particularly convenient if hiking Ella rock or visiting Little Ravana falls. What made the experience unforgettable is Rangana and Dilshan, the on site staff at the hotel. They were very sweet and helpful and took good care of us, even providing us with some valuable recommendations for local activities. The freshly made breakfast was delicious - perhaps some of the best meals we had in Srilanka! We hope to visit here again

Had an incredible stay at Ella Trail Luxury Villa up in the hillside with beautiful luscious views and a cool overview of the train track which you can walk down to get to Ella town. Askana and Suranga we’re wonderful hosts and couldn’t be more accommodating for us helping us to arrange transportation and always there ready for whatever we needed. I would definitely stay here again even though it is a little further out but the views are unreal and the Property is beautiful with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the scenery..
