great stuff, great room for a family

Every one gana with me , every thing was more great , room , restaurant, staffs and location. I’ll come again to stay in future. All the staffs are helpful .

The hosts, Atif and Usman were very accommodating to our requests and requirements. Though it was busy during our stay (Christmas eve and Christmas day), both were approachable and jolly the whole time.

Clean, fridge in the room and papaya welcome drink.

Staff very friendly and offer help when no lights and water out totally (issues from town). Any request, they respond very quickly.

1. Hotel J’s staff is excellent. The staff is as good as any at a five star hotel 2. Hotel J swimming pool is bathtub temperature and clean. 3. The ground are nice green grass with beach lounge chairs 4. The property is on a nice walkable beach 5. Hotel J is on a making drag where you can walk to shops and restaurants. 6. Ate breakfast, Lunch and Supper all of which were good

Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed very well. Location also perfect.😍

We loved our short stay at Atarah! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The evening sunset was beautiful to watch from our room. A special thank you to Prasansha for arranging a car for us to travel around Negombo — it made everything so easy. Thank you! We will definitely come back to Atarah next time we’re in Sri Lanka.

During my recent visit to Negombo, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Blue Bird, a charming family-run establishment that truly exceeded my expectations.  From the moment I arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts stood out. Ajith and his family were incredibly helpful, assisting with everything from arranging airport transfers to providing local recommendations. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and modern bathrooms. I particularly appreciated the serene ambiance, which made for restful nights. Hotel Blue Bird offers exceptional value for money, combining comfort, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Negombo and look forward to returning in the future.

View is very nice over the ocean from the balcony. Excellent big and delicious breakfast. Pool clean and refreshing.

Room number 4: It was nice to be on the top with a balcony overlooking the pleasant surroundings. The room is large and modern. Spacious bathroom with a good shower. A nice little garden for having breakfast. A good location, about a 10 minute walk from the beach with shops and restaurants just a 2 minute walk away. As the property is a little bit removed from the main street it is pretty quiet. The manager , Pramod, is outstanding !! He is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and intelligent. He is one of the nicest people that I have met in Sri Lanka. He was always available to help me out with multiple issues. 5 stars for Pramod 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hotel was right on the Negambo beach, so it was convenient. Went swimming in the ocean and also rented a catamaran and went. Hotel was kind of old but was OK, specially for the price, it was OK.

I like location at the Hotel and warm welcoming by Receptionist Sewwandi she's very polite and friendly Great Hospitality by Heart She's one of the star in Hotel

Nice environment & staff Comfy beds Enjoyed the pool & manager made me hard boiled eggs to take with me at 430am. 20 min to airport & good restaurant cross the street.

It’s a cute old house directly on the beach.

The owner and staff (especially Mr Basil) were just AMAZING. So polite and so helpful whenever I needed any assistance. Property's location super convenient, everything you need is just around the corner.

The manager and his wife make you feel special from the moment you arrive - actually before that - as I had sent them a host of emails and they replied incredibly swiftly. I knew they were caring and professional just from their response's. Nothing was too much trouble and if I hadn't been travelling around I would have made Hotel Transylvania my base - its proximity to Colombo and also the airport makes it an excellent staging post.
