I recently stayed at Wild Blossom during my leisure trip to Sigiriya, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The property is nestled in a serene location, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The room I booked was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with all the facilities I expected—air conditioning, a cozy bed, hot water, and even complimentary toiletries. Everything was well-maintained and added to the overall comfort of my stay. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. They were always ready to assist with recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and arranging transportation. Their friendliness made my short stay feel incredibly special. The included amenities, such as the delicious breakfast and the relaxing outdoor spaces, were the cherry on top. I especially enjoyed starting my morning with a hearty meal while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Overall, Wild Blossom exceeded my expectations and provided the perfect base for my Sigiriya adventure. Stuff were so much helpful.. they want to do anything to make your stay perfect

We stayed here for a few days. The owner was nice and helpful, prepared tasty local dishes for us. Also helped us to organize Tuk tuk for a Sygiria trip and to Dambulla. They have a wonderful garden with local trees like (mango, king coconut, avocado, jackfruit, etc). We really liked there, it felt like home:)

The room was very spacious, well-decorated and clean. The staff were friendly and competent. The pool was great! And the food was also really good. Our family enjoyed our three nights here. The owner even helped us with a medical issue and spent three hours in town with us making sure we got properly cared for.

Best staff ever. We had a perfect time, we highly recommend.

A Truly Restorative Wellness Retreat Our second stay at Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort in Sigiriya again was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the peace, nature, and genuine warmth from the staff. The setting is breathtaking — lush greenery, v tranquil views, and an atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down. Our suite was expansive and tranquil, with a huge, comfortable bed, a spa-like bathroom, and a private plunge pool overlooking the forest canopy. Mornings began with birdsong and soft sunlight filtering through the trees. There’s no rush here — just space to breathe, rest, and rediscover stillness. The Ayurvedic treatments were outstanding. The resident doctor was kind and attentive, and each therapy was tailored to our needs. The therapists were professional, skilled, and genuinely caring — every session left us feeling lighter and completely relaxed. The food was light, fresh, and nourishing, aligned with Ayurvedic principles. It’s not indulgent dining, but every meal felt like part of the wellness journey — balanced, beautiful, and made with care it perfectly complements the wellness philosophy of the resort. A special mention must go to the staff, who were exceptional throughout our stay. They truly go above and beyond — warm, attentive, and respectful, without ever being intrusive. Every detail, from the herbal teas to the evening turn-down service, felt thoughtful and intentional. We were surprised every time with the location of our b/fast and diners. A heartfelt thank you to Lackshan, who was wonderful with our little boy — he played with him, kept him engaged, and made sure he never felt bored. It meant so much to us and made our stay even more special. This is not a place for nightlife or crowds it’s designed for peace, rest, and self-care. If you’re looking for a luxury wellness retreat in Sri Lanka where you can truly unwind and reconnect with yourself, Ayugiri is a gem.

Beautiful setting. Enjoyed the pool and the service was excellent, as well as the food. LOVED the puppies.

We had a very good time in this accommodation. owner is an excellent host, he picked us up from the train station in the evening, organized trips to the sunrises on the rocks and took care of everything. He was available to us at any time and was able to give us good tips, including for our other travel destinations! The accommodation itself was very clean, very comfortable beds and air conditioning. The bathroom is quite simply furnished, but was absolutely sufficient. I can fully recommend the accommodation for a great time in Sigiriya!

Pothana village is truly the best place to stay in the area and probably the country, we 200% recommend it! It is a beautiful oasis in the sigyria area and a true ode to this beautiful country. The hotel is built with amazing taste and perfect facilities. Small private bungalows that have all the luxuries you need but also make you feel surrounded by nature.Sorrounded by a beautiful natural park and a lake, we woke up with peacocks in the garden and a beautiful pool🏞️🌱 On our way there we even bumped into an elephant and it's often possible to spot elephants near the place. 🐘❤️ The staff was extremely professional and spoke great english. The hotel owner is the kindest man, perfect English, and very knowledgeable, showed us around the area, helped us with our morning hikes and gave all the best advice for the continuation of our trip. He made our trip to Sri Lanka very special! We only wish we could have stayed even more and will recommend it to all our friends back home! ✨🥰

Fabulous stay! Roshan, the manager, was extremely helpful and welcoming. The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature—we even saw peacocks near our room. The swimming pool was great too. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Food is delicious, the pool is amazing for taking pictures, everything about this hotel is very nice
