The manager, Saman, was probably the best hotel manager I met in a long time. He went above and beyond to try and help: a real professional, and the best of Sri Lanka when it comes to hospitality. Suraj, the cook, also made good food and gave great portions, so I was satisfied.

The owners were so friendly, the units were very clean, and it was a great pit stop before our trip back home. We only booked for a short time and wish we had stayed longer! Really appreciate the ride to the airport as well

It’s in a great location for arrival and departure, and it’s a lovely hotel in any case. Great rooms, great staff, great pool.

Worth stay near airport and friendly staffs service is also good and foods are tasty and valuable for the price range.

Excellent breakfast variety of choices

There isn’t any reason to dislike this facility. The breakfast area was cute, tidy and neat. The breakfast table had variety of fruit, fruit salad breads , include the famous Sri Lankan dishes. Egg dishes were prepared at our request. The team of staff in all areas were courteous, friendly and attentive. It is modern, clean and the rooms are spacious. I loved the blackout blinds. The mattress on room 504 was perfect for my one wonderful night of sleeping. The varanda on the 4th floor has a beautiful view. The gentlemen in the front desk Mr.Mohamed was polite and helpful with our luggage, suggesting places to visit and where to go. The front desk personal were fabulous. I am in love with euro star Hotel. I forgot to ask the motive behind the unique name of Euro star hotel, I will be back but won’t be too soon, unfortunately...Thank you and appreciated for everyone in euro star hotel..once again special thanks to Mr.Mohamed for his exceptional service

Everything was perfect! Very clean and modern hotel, secured and fenced garden/courtyard, excellent location right next to the airport, wonderfull dinner, breakfast. Transfers - so easy and efficient! A pool. Wonderfull staff! Thank you!!

Very good staff reception, bell boys, house keeping, restaurent etc

This property did not meet expectations and would be more accurately described as budget backpacker accommodation, rather than a hotel. The room was not clean, with visibly dirty bed linen and threadbare towels. Its location beside a river also raised concerns about mosquitoes, though we did not stay long enough to confirm. The photographs online were misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the property. The overwhelmingly positive reviews seemed unreliable, and we immediately sought alternative accommodation. Fortunately, the Radisson was only 400 metres away. The only positive note was the genuine warmth of the manager who checked us in. Given the evident resource constraints and the likelihood that this hotel operates under difficult conditions, we chose not to request a refund. We felt they needed the money more than we did.
