We had to book this hotel last minute because the other one we've had originally was disgusting. Upon arrival just 20 mins after booking, the manager checked us in in quite fast Rooms were spacious and had good mountain view Breakfast is continental, but portions are good Swimming pool looked good, however we didn't try because of the weather

Everything was just perfect from the arrival till the departure. The room is nice, super clean. You are living with the family and from the beginning you feel very welcomed...The place is very quiet and there is a beautiful view from the terase. And the breakfast? Super delicious and made with love :) Everything is homemade, fresh...ahhh I miss it so much :) The whole family is sooo helpful, friendly and nice. I hope I will be back soon :)

For those seeking a unique experience, you can even sleep outdoors on the comfortable mattresses provided on the terrace—a rare opportunity that’s not possible in the UK. There are no mosquitoes, and the weather is really comfortable. Warm but not too hot or cold. In addition to these remarkable qualities, our stay was enriched by numerous activities suitable for our children. Jagath, known for his hard work, friendliness, and generosity, guided us on a jungle hike to a hilltop temple. We explored a nearby village untouched by tourist influence, took part daily in the preparation of Sri Lankan dishes and breakfast, and even tried our hand at making roti. This immersive experience allowed us to gain profound insights into Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and cuisine, all within an eco-friendly and sustainable paradise. I originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 — that alone says everything about this place. It's incredibly peaceful here, almost like a temple in terms of the calm and quiet atmosphere. I spent most of my time just reading a book, surrounded by the beautiful scenery. The weather was cold during my stay, which made it even more relaxing. Nisha is such a lovely mother figure — warm, caring, and genuinely kind. She even gave me a cookery demonstration using real spices, and I can honestly say it was the best real Sri Lankan dish I've had in over three weeks of traveling around the country. The flavors were authentic, rich, and absolutely delicious. The whole place is clean, well-maintained, and feels very serene. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with incredible homemade food and a host who treats you like family, this is the place.
