When we opened the door, it was a big wow. It felt as if we had stepped into a place you normally only see in your dreams. My family and I love to be surrounded by beauty. One of my daughters is an interior designer for hotels all over the world, and even she was completely speechless. The photos on Booking.com do not capture the true beauty of this place. Every detail is perfect. Normally, when our family checks in somewhere, we immediately go out to explore the surroundings. But after arriving at Olinda, we stayed the entire day. We played in the pool together, relaxed, lounged, and simply enjoyed being with each other in a place that gives you such a wonderful feeling. The food and drinks were, of course, of the same excellent quality. After a perfect night’s sleep in one of the four rooms we had booked, we decided to take a tuk-tuk tour. It was a joyful experience. Galle is a beautiful historic place, and the ancient Buddhist rock temple is truly worth visiting a very old, pure, and peaceful place. We celebrated New Year’s Eve in Galle and had a lovely time. Leaving Olinda was hard. We truly felt at home, wrapped in warmth created by the wonderful crew. They are present with open hearts and that is exactly what you feel in this house. We are very gratefull to be here on our Sri Lanka tour

Design: The hotel has a stylish and luxurious feel, that carries through to the rooms which were very thoughtfully and elegantly furnished, with slightly different colours and moods in each room. Bathrooms were outstandingly spacious with large shower areas and nice attention to detail. The rooms look as good as or better than in the photos! Service: We stepped into the hotel and were warmly greeted by the manager Ismail and his welcoming team, who promptly brought our bags upstairs. Throughout our stay, service was very personal and attentive.

We had a superb trip to Galle staying at the Sun House. It is the perfect base for exploring the town and being able to come back to a small slice of paradise to relax by the pool, in the gardens or around the house. The food was brilliant, staff incredibly friendly and the cocktails were brill.

Everything. Location is perfect so close to all main beaches. Staff also. The owner ordered food for us. Booked a tuk tuk . The room is so clean with air condition , tv, clothing iron . I felt so safe like I was at my home.
