This place is like a little retreat center with the river, so many beautiful animals and Volky’s kind hospitality. Watching the birds, meditating next to the river, playing on the grass, having nice conversations with Volky in the communal kitchen… I will miss my time in riVer :) Perfect location, 4-5 minutes to the peaceful side of the beach, very nice 20-25 minutes walking (especially when you walk from the beach) to the town which is more crowded but you can also find anything you need.

Niira is a new hotel so all the amenities are new. It’s very stylish, clean and a good choice of accommodation both for couples and friends traveling together. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Amil was very helpful, he arranged our tuk tuk driver, massage sessions and a complimentary cake for my birthday. Rooms are very clean and they are cleaned daily. Location is great, a walkable distance from the bars and restaurants in mirissa. Breakfast menu is very tasty. We will definitely come back to Niira!

We had the best time here. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. We absolutely loved kenny and his sneaky smile everytime he joked. Food is absolutely top notch. Beautiful aesthetic rooms, beach is beautiful full of corals and shells.

We spent unforgettable days at Hotel SOLA with our family, and it truly felt like a little paradise. Nestled in the lush gjungle, the hotel offered a unique jungle atmosphere that we absolutely loved. The natural surroundings were full of life—monkeys, peacocks and plenty of different birds. It was peaceful, immersive, and deeply relaxing. The rooms are spacious, and beautifully designed with nature in mind. We especially appreciated the private balconies that looked out over the gardens. Our kids had the time of their lives! Between splashing around in the large pool, exploring the wide-open estate, and learning about all the local fruit trees, they were constantly engaged and excited. They even got to enjoy fresh coconuts picked straight from the trees, which was a total highlight. The food was awesome and a great combination of Sri Lankan and continental cuisine. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, Hotel SOLA exceeded all of our expectations. It’s a perfect destination for families looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories.

Raul was the absolute best. He make sure we are well taken care of. He is very active and very well communicated. The room is clean and new. We booked the room with no air-con (didnt notice properly) and then got moved to room with air-con once it’s available with no problem, no hassle. Better for travelers who like peaceful vibe.

It was perfectly clean and spacious. Nipun and his family are adorable and treated us like their own family. The location is amazing, not too far from restaurants/bars/beach. But also not too close, to hear the traffic on the man road.
