Our host was so helpful and friendly and charming. He gave us a bag full of goodies to keep us going all day at Calakmul and also when we left for our next destination. The spacious and cozy cottage is also charming and so nice to return to after our trips to the sites over several days. Sitting outside in the evening we were once visited by a peacock! I believe this is the very best place to stay in the area!

We had the Colibri hut and it was absolutely beautiful, one of our favorite accommodations in Mexico. It was super comfortable even though you feel lost in the jungle. The restaurant was also good!

This hotel is nestled away up a side street about 3 blocks or so from the main highway thru. town. They do a good business, and deserve it. They are a choice for tour groups and professionals working away from home. They have off-street parking, which is motorcycle friendly which is important to some (like me). The staff is friendly and efficient. They have an on-site restaurant which serves great food and is of course very convenient. There is a convenience store just 2 blocks away that is fairly well stocked.

It’s extremely close to the ADO. The Pizzeria in front of the hotel has excellent food, the staff were very friendly and the room, while small, was very comfortable, great AC and a nice hot shower. You can even arrange all of the trips to the ruins and the bat cave! Just outstanding
