It’s so close from the beach. Our dog looooovee it. Super secure and calm. It’s self check in and the neighbors are such nice people. The staff were super friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the water and got resolved within 30 min. I want to personally thank Ayerhim for allowing us to stay longer than my booking rsv. We had a different stay in Holbox that got canceled last minute and Ayerhim was too kind to let us stay longer in the property.

Beautiful and quiet condo a very short walk from the beach. Access to the pool immediately from the master suite, easy access to the roof for hammocks and loungers. Markets to purchase supplies a short bit away. Hugo was extremely responsive and helpful.

Our contact was quick to respond but his helpers were not as fast. The owner gave us an 18L bottle of potable water at no charge. For our 10-day stay, he was willing to give a change of linen and towels. He gave us clothes hangers when we asked for them. When we contacted him about the ants on one of the beds, his maintenance guy came and sprayed the entire house along the corners, baseboards and the bases of the two beds. The owner provided a cutting board when we asked for one. We liked how quickly we could access the main highway. The split air conditioning was very helpful and useful but the remote control for the eating area and kitchen had a broken display so we had to use the remote controls from the bedrooms. The owner recommended some sites for us to visit and was helpful in telling us where to find groceries and DIY potable water.

Beautiful property right on the beach! It has a wonderful 2nd floor pool deck with loungers and an area with loungers and beds right on the beach with service from the restaurant. You get a 15% discount at the restaurant and sister restaurant, Almedia. Both were nice meals with great waterfront views. The staff were very professional and helpful. Overall a great stay.

We chose Chicxulub as an alternative to Playa del Carmen...

We chose Chicxulub as an alternative to Playa del Carmen which had become too touristy in recent years. Chicxulub is a more typical small Mexican town with several local restaurants, markets, and grocery stores. In winter it is frequented by an older clientele often staying a month or more. There are collectivos to Progreso (10 pesos), DiDi, and Uber. A new WalMart recently opened in Progreso. The beaches are mostly white sand with numerous small gabions to prevent erosion; seaweed comes and goes; the winds are relentless! Limited entertainment and activities locally, but lots of things to see and do in the area and in Merida.

The location is excellent — just three blocks from the main...

The location is excellent — just three blocks from the main freeway and OXXO, and only steps from the beach. One tip: bring ice and bottled water, as those aren’t provided. The rooftop pool and elevator were great perks, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. The host was incredibly attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend Agua Azul Chixchulub Puerto to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a prime spot on the Yucatán coast. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Breakfast was not included in the rental. However it had a great kitchenette for preparing our own meals. This is one of the best deals in Pregresso/Chicxulub ! The owner, Alain, is very kind and accommodating and the rental is very nice. Love the pool ! Great rates, especially weekly or monthly.
