A great place to unwind and rest. Rise early morning, go for a walk, have coffee and breakfast, walk down in the centro for the day, take tramvia or turibus guided tour, watch mummies and mines, catch up with a late lunch, and enjoy beautiful sunset and dinner.

I had looked at Youtube videos about Guanajuato city, but...
I had looked at Youtube videos about Guanajuato city, but they do not do justice to the entire city. Not just down town, but all the callejones and a choice I made to walk the Panoramica calle, around the city. The views of the city from different sites was amazing, but it was the mountains that rose up around you. They were stunning.
I would recommend people to take a walk along the Panoramica, even it is only 40 minutes. The views are amazing which include the ruins of old stone factories, For me the downtown was great, but the views and walking around the city was the best.

Guanajuato is a beautiful city, full of history, rich in culture, excellent customer service, delicious food & always fun to visit. It is my favorite city to visit in Mexico. I've been there about 5 times & every time has been a great experience. I highly recommend to visit Guanajuato, Mexico

I loved the traditional architecture of the centro historico...
I loved the traditional architecture of the centro historico, and all the restaurants and shops. The atmosphere was lively and had good energy. I felt very safe, and everything was very convenient. The trips to see the surrounding sights were very good.

The museums and Artesania were incredible!
The museums and Artesania were incredible! The studio of Gorky Gonzales is a ‘must visit’.
We loved eating at the smaller traditional restaurants like Oajillo, Pink Pepper, and Comedor Traditional.
Bring your walking shoes! There are many hills and steps!

Tastfully decorated, suites and garden. It's a good distance from the historic centre, offering a reprieve from the hustle and heat of the city. Best equipped hotel kitchen I've ever had. I would definitely return.
