Wonderful vibes of a small and quaint hotel, but with walking access to the community and many dining options. Restaurant delicious, both for breakfast and dinner. Service phenomenal, friendly and helpful. Reserved tour to see whales and snorkeling, and relaxing massages in spa.

United StatesBeing next to a restaurant was great! The room was roomy and the bathroom nice and large. Everything was clean and while the location is a little bit away from the main town there is great access to the public bus or a cab. The location was great for the beach. The pool was very nice.

La Ropa area was awesome to stay, moving around in zihuatanejo was easy and people are very helpful. My favorite spots, La ropa beach, La isla, and definitely tje Partenón, remarkable spot to watch the sunset while enjoying a refreshment from the coffee bar 😍😍😍😍😍 and listening to a local singer. The seafood soup at el tiburon restaurant in plaza Kioto 😋delicious, as well as their sarandeado fish. Enjoyed the souvenir shopping spot too.

Going to the beach was my favorite as the waves here are quite gentle. I've stayed in Ixtapa previously but the waves were too intense for me. If shopping is your thing, you'll enjoy the selection here in Zihuatanejo. The same is true for restaurants, you name, it's here.

Zihuatanejo offers great weather and safe swimming, which can be hard to come by in many coastal communities. It's an authentic Mexican city, so while there are many tourists, it retains a charm that is lacking in resort towns like Ixtapa. The food is wonderful, with lots of fresh seafood. Plentiful taxis and the small "collectivo" buses make it easy to get around. There is quite a variety of live music, usually at restaurants. Annual events like paella-fest, Sailfest and the Guitar Festival offer interesting activities that - in some cases - support charitable projects locally.

3 beaches within walking distance . people friendly. Felt safe home away from home. Many people return every year for 1 or 2 month stays at the same place. Weather beautiful though too hot to walk in the pm.

Zihua is a real Mexican town that us white people have...
Zihua is a real Mexican town that us white people have invaded. I am sure they are just as happy amongst themselves, but we pay their utilities. If you want a glitzy hotel, go up to Ixtapa or Cabo. If you have the fortitude, Zihua has more than just tacos and salsa.

Everything. The property and unit more than met my expectations. The location is quiet and relaxing, right on the beach. The hostess, Maggie, and staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The entire property is beautiful and cozy, exactly what I was looking for. Our unit was welcoming, cozy and very clean. Highly recommend this stay for relaxing and enjoying beautiful Playa Blanca.

Amazing view of the ocean/bay. Central location to both main town and La Ropa beach. Open to outside layout of condo maximized view, fresh air and sounds of ocean. Balcony awning worked well to reduce late afternoon sun exposure. Quiet building - small number of units. Nice infinity pool. Excellent communication from host before and during stay with lots of tips/recommendations for the area.

Location was fantastic!! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Madera's restaurant had great people, not too impressed with the breakfast but the snacks were good & dinner was really nice there. Staying at the resort gets you lounge chairs on the beach which were nice.
