Great place with amazing staff. The walk to the beach is very doable. It looks high but the pathway they created makes it very easy. Beach is simply amazing. The staff also needs mentioning. Amazing service all round.

The staff really went out of their way to make our stay...

The staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had two birthdays in the week, and our birth days were packed with additional efforts, cake, singing, little messages, etc. The efforts were really from Reception, through to the bar/kitchen/dining staff, the cleaners and the ground keepers. Always friendly with a greeting and a warm smile. The Tents were spacious to say the least, larger than I expected. The little kitchen was functional and served its purpose. The grounds were well kept, with lots of interesting flowering plants, butterflies and even a tortoise. Cherry on the cake was the Paragliding, taking off and landing right there frm the lawns....

Get ready to deflate your car tyres and sink your toes into...

Get ready to deflate your car tyres and sink your toes into the sand and soak up the breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean at this stunning property! The surrounding area is a sandy haven, perfect for barefoot strolls. Be prepared for a scenic hike down a dune to reach the beach, but trust me, it's absolutely worth it! The beach itself is a tropical paradise, with crystal-clear blue waters and locals offering rejuvenating massages. You will find beach tents and chairs for hire, all you need to bring is your towel. Just a heads up: the tent guys only take cash (R200 for a tent and 2 chairs in our case), but they happily accept both Mozambican currency and South African Rand. On a brighter note, the beach bar accepts card payments, so you can sip on your favorite drinks without a hitch. Whether you are a hiking enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing beach day, this spot has got you covered! The property serves a delicious breakfast and unbelievably tasty seafood for dinner.

Ponta Malongane is lovely.

Ponta Malongane is lovely. The beaches are lovely and clean and the people are very friendly. We went out on a boat and saw dolphins and whales, it was great. The pao's (Portuguese for "bread") is lovely and the housekeeper at Alfie's House brought us a few pao's every morning, which were enjoyed by all.

The kind of place that grows on you.

The kind of place that grows on you. The roads are very sandy in places so deflate your tires and you will manage well. 4x4 is not a must but certainly preferable. The road to Ponta Malongane is a track mostly but follow the directions and ask the locals as you go... They are very helpful

Good food.

Good food. Friendly people It's quite difficult to get to so I would advise driving from South Africa as opposed to flying. The shuttles are quite expensive so economically it makes more sense to drive as its not that far from the South African border.
