Play Santa Martha is the perfect place to stay when arriving in Ometepe, walking distance from the ferry. And very close to Charco Verde and the museum El ceibo. Beautiful property right on the lake. With free breakfast included! Although I don’t speak much Spanish, and they don’t speak much English, Odell and Deana made me feel at home !

The place, the stuff, the garden

The owners were amazing. The breakfast was great. The bed was comfy but the room was super basic for the cost.

I loved everything about this hostel. The location, the colors, but especially the people. Juana and Annie went above and beyond to accommodate me during my stay. They helped answer questions, make recommendations, and made me feel most welcome. They all speak very good English which was appreciated as my Spanish is very bad. They helped me book day trips. They even walked with me around the town showing me some of their favorite spots. The room was clean and large and had a fan that worked really well. The breakfast and smoothies are wonderful. Great locations right by the ferry port. I recommend this hostel 100%

A great hotel. Steps from the ferry in Moyogalpa, I arrived and was greeted by a friendly staff member. Everyone at the hotel was polite, nice, and helpful. My room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The property, including the pool, was gorgeous. An incredible value for the price - I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

Very close to port and restaurants. The staff was excellent and attentive!

Loved it! The kids really enjoyed the pool and everyone was friendly.
