We were in Deventer for a family wedding. The Finch is very close to the train station and right in town - so close to shops and eateries. We really enjoyed the quietness. The room was large for the Nederlands and we had ample room. There was a good shower and vanity with a separate toilet on the other side of the room. The room had quirky decor with a record player on one bedside table and a stack of books on the other - it set the tone for a fun few days with family. The staff were amazing and friendly and always greeted us as we came and went. Reception area doubled as a bar which served all day till late. Breakfast was in this area too in the morning and it was GOOD - we really loved it. It was brought on a tray to the comfortable chairs and tables so it felt leisurely. Coffee was also good.

Wonderful staff and a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and very cozy. The beds were also magical. On New Year's Eve, we specifically escaped the noise, fireworks, and firecrackers, and it was the best decision. Thank you for the late checkout on January 1st.
