Very nice room, spacious and well equipped. Even a jar of aromatized bath salt was supplied. Limited choice for breakfast, but everything felt very fresh (eggs cooked on demand, ginger shots, salmon). All these small things (and friendly staff) made our stay extremely pleasant. Also, not sure if it's good sound insulation, or just luck, but we heard zero noise when we were inside our room.

What a sensational place to stay! Right in the heart of Den Bosch. The swish boutique hotel is chic, with stunning interior, a beautiful breakfast room and exceptional staff. Friendly and healpful. Very nicely remodeled historic building with great location in historic part of Den Bosch with view of the Binnendieze and boats passing directly under the room. Very quiet area but very close to all bars and restaurants in the center. Staff is super friendly and helpful. But only on site from 3-6.

We stayed here as we were going to a music event & needed to...

We stayed here as we were going to a music event & needed to be near Den Bosch. We chose to stay here as the accommodation was much cheaper than in the city & I'm glad we did. It's a pretty town with interesting architecture, lot's of green spaces and good transport connections. Only 2 stops on the cheap & regular train to Den Bosch, or about 20 minutes on the bus. I was only there for 5 days & was busy at the music event for most of that time, so didn't get a chance to explore the town itself, which is a shame. What I did see of it was lovely & clean & everyone was friendly & helpful. I live in the UK, so am always amazed at how clean the towns & cities of The Netherlands are, compared to the UK. I saw the first red squirrel in my life in Rosmalen (I'm 56), so that pleased me greatly!

We stayed in Rosmalen to visit the Hieronymus Bosch Center...

We stayed in Rosmalen to visit the Hieronymus Bosch Center and the Het Noorbrabant Museum in the city of 's Hertogenbosch, which is also called den Bosch. There is a P&R with a free bus into town not far from the Villa Berk en Heide. It was a quiet place with accommodations that were complete, comfortable and reasonably priced. It was a comfortable stay. We also took a boot ride under the old city that was fun and interesting and the cathedral is gorgeous.
