Fantastic apartment which we had to ourselves a whole floor. Retro fitted, you feel like you are in a different time 60’s & 70’s- magic! Bathroom functional, floor headed. Comfortable bed in large room overlooking road & mountains. Kitchen facilities great! View from window looking at the Hornindalsvatnet Lake, the deepest lake in Europe. Have access to private outdoor area & lake. 2 grocery shops across the road. A very helpful host, giving us exploring ideas and local history. We highly recommend.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room had a nice size. The bed was really comfortable and the view was amazing. The room had a quite big TV and a small desk to do some laptop work on. The breakfast had a very large assortment, including full English breakfast items. De restaurant for dinner was quite good, and reasonably priced. Overall this hotel has a very good value for your money, I would stay here again.

If you want a sterile hotel experience this property is not for you. But if you are open for new and unusual experience, for a feeling like you are visiting grandpa’s house, then it’s right for you. This is a house where people do live in. You get the whole house just for your family with huge dinner table and beautiful mountain panorama. A refreshing feeling after mountain cabins and tiny campings.

The location of this hotel is great, with a amazing view on the water and mountains. The Hotel is rather Basic, but clean. Friendly staff.
