The little cottage was a home away from home. It has one bedroom on the main floor and a loft with two single beds. It was sufficient for our group of 3. The living room has sufficient space for a sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, dishwasher, utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc. I wish I could stay longer. The property owners were very friendly and told us some history of this area. They also took us to a historic church after our crab safari. We chose this cottage for its quiet location and reasonable prices. Kirkenes is a strange place where transportation is expensive and inconvenient. Renting a car for the drive to the cottage is cheaper than getting the transportation tickets for the 3 of us. The lodging and crab safari are also cheaper than the ones offered in Kirkenes.
