Great in all the standard stuff, but also fun & interesting things like traditional green roofs, new (to me) wall construction/finishing. I love sitting outside looking over the fjord at the mountains. Sigh!

I had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect. It was quaint and there are great hikes nearby. The hotel itself is rich in history and beautiful throughout. I particularly enjoyed reading in the library, having dinner while watching the sunset, and spending time in the sauna on the fjord. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious and decorated place, with towels and bed linens, comfortable beds and shower, fully equipped kitchen. The owner was very kind and showed us around the beautiful property explaining about the family history which dates back to the 5th century
