We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and even the weather cooperated to give us a marvelous sunrise in the morning. The junior suite was very clean and modern, but cozy, and had everything we needed. We had the wellness area with several jaccuzzis and a rooftop sauna under the starry night sky to ourselves in the evening and enjoyed the amazing views in the morning.

The staff was very friendly. The Cafe was very convenient and the food was very good.

We had a lovely time here. The rooms and the spa facilities were lovely. We were able to stay in the two bedroom apartment with our small dog, but be aware they aren’t allowed in every room. Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend. Also note if you have any mobility issues, to get to the beach there is a relatively steep hill and rocks before you reach the sandy beach.

VILLA BRATTHOLMEN features a private beach area and a sauna, as well as accommodations with a kitchen in Brattholmen, 11 miles from Bergen University.
