What makes the hotel special is the personel. The owner, Stephan, is a fantastic person who runs a family business and took extra time to talk to us, give us valuable insight, made sure we were taken care off and safe. The ladies who run the place for him are also spectacular. The location is a bit off Puno, on the other side than the little harbour from which the Titicaca boats leave. But it is not far and if you want to avoid the chaos of Puno, this is perfect. The breakfast is lovely, with fresh fruits and strong coffee. The views of lake Tititcaca are simply stunning.

The property is a quite peaceful spot on the lake it was nice to be away from the city and enjoy the calm waters. Also the staff are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home.

Staying at the lake was such a unique experience. Waking up with that view is the best thing ever. There was hot water, many blankets, a heater.
