United StatesThe place is as clean as could be. Simple room which suited me. Windows faced inner courtyard that is roofed in so noise is minimized. Breakfast doesn’t change but is adequate and service with that is good. Lunch and dinners offered but I didn’t partake. No English while I was there but some staff accommodated me with App translators which got the job done. Bed was very comfortable. It was my second visit to Cajamarca in past year and I can say with some history that there are only a few places in the center of this great city that surpass this hotel in cleanliness and service.

There are enough interesting sites here to keep a tourist busy for several days, and the city allows one to experience Peruvian life in a city that is not overrun with tourists. A great place for relaxing. Little English is spoken here.

Cajamarca is an amazing city with a lot of historical places to visit. My kids love it. Granja Porcon, Ventanillas de Otuzco, Laguna San Nicolas, City Center and more.
My kids were first time in Latin America, and as a mother I was a bit worry about the food but it was fine as the hotels offered International dishes. The city is super safe and clean. The people very friendly and helpful.

Great place to visit.
Great place to visit. Not to many foreigners, mostly Peruvians from different departments. I stayed 4 completely days. If you go, choose any local tours from the plaza. Do not booked from a private travel agency as the will charged twice as much as the local tour places at the plaza. I had two tours per day 9:30-2:00 and the 3:30-6:30. Cumbemayo and ventanillas de Otuzco were my favorite places to see along with the city tour and the hacienda Porcon this last one I recommend to skip the mini zoo and take the horses to the upper valley to see the waterfall. Tried spendings more time, if possible to see the rainbow trout’s reservoir and eating lunch there. Best prices to buy local cheese and dulce de leche. On your last day, go to the thermal baths and request the new baths, about s/15 soles. Great places to relax and unwind. Eat at The hotel restaurant el Marque or at Fritos around the plaza

The location of the hotel is great! It is located at the end of a road in a rather quiet neighbourhood.
It is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The offer breakfast which is nothing special,
but quite alright! The ladies from house keeping are great!
The rooms have a good size and are well equipped. Everything worked, shower, sink, TV (not that I actually watch much :-))

Everything! We had use of the spa, jacuzzi and pool which was fantastic for our relaxing break. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. The superior room was huge and very comfortable. We would stay here if we came to Cajamarca again.

Clean comfortable room. First night water was just lukewarm but thereafter was hot at all times. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent a few minutes walk from the plaza de armas. Good buffet breakfast.
