This place is amazing, the staff the grounds etc. They have 2 alpacas that live on site so that was also really cool. The room we booked was more like a house. Two stories, 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was amazing and we kept comparing everything to Del Pillar which was impossible to do because Del Pillar was the BEST. We especially loved the staff, they were incredible. Our favorite human was Audry, she was not only amazing but so incredible kind, she spent time with us playing games and teaching us language while we were sitting at the bar/restaurants. We really felt like VIP 1000% of the time, she played with our son, made recommendations on the town. Just an incredible human. Honestly Del Pillar was the best stay we had in Peru and the best staff, they even took care of me when I came down with altitude sickness. Just beyond grfeatful for them all.

Great position on the mountain. Have great view of sacred valley. Interesting room under a star dome. Amazing experience in this historical place. Feel like have kind of connection with old Inca culture.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful! We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Walter, who was incredibly generous and friendly. Our room was spacious, bright, and spotless. The shower was fantastic—clean with excellent water pressure. By the way, I want to highlight the windows, which had great noise insulation—we slept very well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ollantaytambo. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay!

Very kind and helpful Hotel staff in a beautiful natural serene garden setting very close and convenient located to the train station. Also not far off the town center and ruins. The alpacas are a bonus point, we tried not to use them as a photo op, they just enjoy doing their own quiet thing anyway : )

Staff, super friendly and helpful

It’s a brand new property right on the main square with modernist design plus enough electronic outlets with USB ports and good WIFI. It’s good value for money and well designed. The best part is due to the ideal location of this property unlike other hotels you don’t have to drag your luggage through this old Incan cobblestones to get to your hotel. The freshly American breakfast was hearty and great convenience for the hike of the day.

The garden was lovely. Spent three afternoons there.

The view was amazing and very quite

The location was perfect, no big hills to get to and from the main town centre. The view of the mountains and the street below was amazing. There was fantastic water pressure and temperature. The dogs and cats on the property were super cute and friendly. The owner was super nice, accommodating and a pleasant to meet and talk with. Wholesome vibes all around.

Price was hard to beat. Shower was hot. Location was perfect. Heavy Alpaca blankets were a nice touch.

What didn’t I like about the property. The caretakers are an amazing couple with a little girl that receive you and instantly put a smile on your face. Love the fact that they try and guide you into activities since the moment you are settled and they are committed to making sure you like your room. If they have another available they’ll offer to change you. We had a room on the third floor and they said we could go to the main if we wanted to but we loved our room. Had a big window looking to the little river that goes by. The room was spacious and the bathroom as well. Nice and hot shower and very clean. Would recommend 100% and would definitely stay here. The breakfast was complete, fruit, yogurt, bread, eggs, cereal, milk, coffee and tea. They allow you to refill your water on site as well!!! There are some areas where you can sit and relax, play games if you want. Location was great. In between both of the ruins in town.

It was completely worth spending two nights in Ollantaytambo, rather than rushing through this gem of a town between Cusco and Machu Picchu Pueblo (formerly Aguas Calientes). The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the train station and the center of town, both a short walk away. The rooms overlook a beautiful garden with a backdrop of the spectacular mountain scenery. The hotel is family-operated and all the family members are super friendly. As a nice surprise, the hotel also turned out to be an excellent restaurant, possibly the best in town (we only have two others to compare to).

The room was very comfortable. It had a double bed plus a single bed and a table with two chairs. The bathroom was a bit small but very convenient and had a window. The view from the room was very nice (we could see the archeological site of the incas on the mountain) and it was very bright in the room. The hot water from the shower was working great. The breakfast was good, apart from the normal continental stuff the hostess cut fresh fruit every day, which we enjoyed a lot. The room and the hotel was very clean, they cleaned every day everything. The hostess was very friendly and kind. Also, she kept our luggages for two days when we left to visit Machu Picchu and returned. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic place to stay in Ollaytaytambo. Very comfortable room (with view of the ruins), great bathroom, incl hair dryer. Very friendly and helpful owner. Fabulous breakfast, best we had in two weeks. Lovely verandah and garden. Quiet location yet very close to main square and 10 min walk to the train. Luggage stored when going to MP. Can't recommend it more.
