I had a really pleasant experience - Tea is a great and attentive host and the bungalow is cozy and situated in a quiet location. Fine kitchen amenities for cooking - I was only missing the lid for the smaller pot. However, the best surprise for me was a stable and fast internet connection - I appreciate this mostly because I work remotely and occasionally I need to sync my pictures and videos (lot of them) to the cloud. Here, it was a breeze! Also, when I was leaving, my plane was departing in the afternoon hours - and since there was no other guest right after me, Tea was kind enough to let me stay until the afternoon hours and check-out later. All in all, highly recommended! Mauruuru :)

Perfect place. Peaceful, ocean right out front. No need for ac with the fan and ocean breeze. No need for hot water as the shower was perfect temperature. Loved the porch. Convenient location. Walked to Boulanger every morning for fresh bread and quiche. Rented a scooter to get to further locations, glad we did. Wonderful host!!!! Went above and beyond, amazing!

Nice bungalow near a private beach with good snorkeling. Free kayaks to use and even to go to town with. Unfortunately, no food was included, but the snack bar/restaurant (only for lunch) had good burgers to purchase and the view to the lagoon could not be better from the snack bar. Eating and watching black tip sharks swim only a few feet away was wonderful. It has a nice pier into the lagoon where you can watch the sunset and take pictures. The bungalow was very clean and had a good washing machine, a fridge, microwave oven, stove, plates and utensils, pots and pans, basic spices (also olive oil) AC, and a.large bathroom. Was not woken up by chickens or dogs early in the morning. Their scooters were in good condition and the rental price was very reasonable. Cost is the same to rent one scooter for two as renting two bicycles.

Our stay was absolutely amazing – more than ideal! The newly built bungalows are absolutely beautiful: clean, stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully well-equipped with everything you need. The private beach and lagoon are magical - peaceful, pristine, and literally just steps away from your private, spacious front terrace. It’s a true slice of paradise. Isabelle and Kelly go above and beyond in every way. Their hospitality is unmatched—they are incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel like family. From the moment we arrived, they took the time to learn about our interests and helped us book unforgettable excursions with awesome, trusted local guides. Isa and Kelly were always available, warm, and attentive, genuinely passionate about creating meaningful experiences for their guests. And Isabella’s cooking… wow! She brought us homemade breakfasts to our terrace each morning, plus a delicious homecooked dinner that was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Honestly, we originally planned to stay on the north side of the island, but choosing Fareana Lodge was the best decision we could have made. It’s serene, spacious, and feels like your own private paradise with the best hosts you could ask for. We felt lucky to stay on the more remote side of the island to see all that Fakarva has to offer. Isa and Kelly were truly a trip highlight, sharing their time, culture, and laughs. We can't wait to stay at Fareana Lodge again!
