Amazing people! We had an amazing stay, and were able to book a lot of great activities organized by the pension. We hiked, had boat trips, fished... I highly recommend the breakfasts and dinners, they were excellent! They have a washing machine you can use for free.

Temeva Lodge was the most excellent place we stayed in Nuka Hiva. We loved the minimalist prefab home set up with modern amenities. Temeva was one of our favorite people we met during our stay and was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The bedroom has a new boxspring queen matters, and the living room has two incredibly comfortable memory foam twin couches/beds. Located on the main road to the village and up the mountain it is easy walking or biking distance to the store, town, and a few shops.

The host Arsène was top! His house is impeccable and comfortable. Arsène made sure all our needs were met, arranged awesome activities and often checked in on us to see if our stay was living up to our expectations. Taiohae and Nuku Hiva at its best.

Valerie was an amazing host. She really made us feel at home. Even though we didn't speak French, she made incredible efforts to try to understand and help us contact event organizers. She also drove us to the store and gave us a town tour. Even drove us to the gift shop on our last day to help us buy souvenirs. Breakfast was very personalized and endearing. Really great view and the whole lodging has a really nice open-air feel. Very welcoming experience!

The view from our balcony was stunning. Breakfast was a fun experience. Our driver/host, Kuanui and her husband Toriki were perfect hosts. They were incredibly nice and accommodating, stopping often along our drive to allow us to take photos. And arranging a rental car for us.
