I like how the hotel exceeded my expectations. The price is reasonable. I got a room that's good for 3 pax. The room is clean, simple, not so spacious but the space is good enough for us. The bed and the pillows are soft. We had a comfortable stay. The comfort room is clean and spacious. They provided us with coffee, water, tissue paper and room slippers. I like the ambience of the room. The staff is very accommodating. How we wish we could stay longer. I forgot to take photos of the bed and the whole room but it's very comfortable. :D

Cagayan de Oro has significantly progressed since the time I studied there in college. We visited SM, Centrio, S&R Membership Shopping, and Seven Seas, and my family truly enjoyed our stay in the city.

CDO is a food haven and I was able to sample the local cuisine which is made interesting by savory seafood and Muslim fare. I slso got to visit a pottery factory and bought a set of plates and food burners. It’s a good place to start a tour - either to Bukidnon where Dahilayan forest park and the Monastery of the Transfiguration are, or to Iligan where the waterfall attractions are located.

I visited for work purposes, I wish I could have stayed longer, but generally, it was a great place to stay, I got to visit the outskirts and serve the locals through a mini medical mission. Love the proximity of the city to the mountains.

CDO is the city I relax and unwind after a grueling 18 hour...

CDO is the city I relax and unwind after a grueling 18 hour flight from the UK. There are many local restaurants and eateries and a variety of Malls for some retail therapy. It is an ideal launchpad for trips south into Bukidnon and its beauty. One of my favourite places to eat was of course Jollibee, open 24 hours so ideal for that cheeky midnight snack when jetlag is waving. I also Enjoy Gerrys Grill in SM down town for that authentic Filipino feast. If you fancy something a bit more exciting, I also recommend Romantic Baboy situated behind Lemketkai Mall for a real treat of Korean BBQ. Getting around CDO is relatively easy, in downtown there are four malls within easy walking distance of each other which can keep you occupied for hours. The bus terminal is nearby (just 5 minutes in a taxi) which can take you into the Heart of Bukidnon for a reasonable price. Last time though, i bit the bullet and hired my first car. Filipino traffic can be daunting at first but as long as you're sensible, you should get around just fine. There isn't much to avoid really, I find the bus terminal very stressful due to the busy nature and people will try to insist they take your bags to the bus for a fee. Not really something I'm comfortable with and paying for entry is also a bit strange. As a foreign person, there is a risk of higher prices everywhere so I'm always weary of what I am paying. Always shop in places where the prices are advertised. All in all CDO is a great city with lots to see and do and a fantastic launchpad into Bukidnon.

The hotel is well situated with easy access to the SM mall, you are literally surrounded by it. There are taxi bays just outside the hotel. The rooms are small and no tea/coffee making facilities - however I bought a small electric kettle and used long life milk/bottled water - purchased nearby in the SM supermarket and overcame that issue. Internet was good and TV service okay.
