Everything is great. The room is so clean and pool is also clean, really impressed with owner’s flexibility. I studied other hotels too, but absolutely there is 10/10. The food in restaurant is also great. I would 100% recommend here. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The accomodation is bright and peaceful, the room was spacious with hanging space, a comfy bed and a good shower that provided hot water. The staff could not be more helpful. Very polite and attentive. Always resupplying water, coffee. It's worth if you're staying here waiting to book trips till you arrive as they can book all the trips in the area through themselves at slightly cheaper rates than get your guide with pick up from the accomodation. We did one of the snorkling trips at Honda bay, firefly watching and the cave. We really enjoyed all the trips. The hotel can also sort out getting you to El Nido again had we known this we would have used them for this instead of pre booking a bus. The hotel is a short trike journey away from town costing less 150 peso (just shy of 2 English pounds) but it's well located next to a restaurant called Balinsasayaw Seaside which again we can't recommend highly enough. All of the food was delicious. It takes a bit of time for it to be cooked but you know it's fresh and being served hot! The resturant and the hotel work well together with location and service. We can't recommend this place enough we had a lovely stay. If you're on the ground floor you will hear those above you but that's just how the flooring is. But we enjoyed our time and would definitely come back

The staff is what I'd like to comment on. The manager and Filipina at desk were two of the most wonderful people on this earth. Went way way beyond their duties to help me with an airline situation that saved me thousands. I cannot thank them enough, karma will be good to you both and I will not ever forget your kindness.

PPS is where you land.

PPS is where you land. There are beaches, caves, jungle and firefly tours, diving, cultural exhibits, the Crocodile Farm and other sites within a few miles. Taking the van to El Nido is must once you are on the island. The streets are VERY busy, especially in mornings and evenings, not for timid drivers. It is a developing area, but SM Mall and Robinson Mall are first world. Lots of poor cinder block, rusty rooves, woven thatch construction on the back streets everywhere in Philippines. Lots of oceans, beaches, jungle and mountains but not that many bugs. Friendly locals, good food to be had many places. No "walking street".

Puerto Princesa is a great place to visit.

Puerto Princesa is a great place to visit. My wife have family here so we are familiar with this location. We travel to Elnido from our hotel which was a 5 hour drive but well worth it. This is a must place to visit if you have the time.

The city is fantastic, a mix of city and well preserve tourists spots like the underground river and the Sabang river. The love of nature and its will to take care of the island despite being a tourist destination of the world is commendable. PALAWAN is definitely a must go and see. The city is not exploited , the food is very good and the price fear.

The most important part of Puerto Princesa is the underground river which is worth visiting. It is about 2 hours from Princesa and 5 hours from El Nido. It was cheaper to fly from Princesa airport to Manila. For us it was a good idea to start from El Nido and visit underground river then transfer in Puerto Princesa to Manila. Good management of time and resources helps a lot in this case.

traffic is chaotic, drive or ride with caution. the bay area, (inner harbour) has good bars / restaurants, nice views, nice waterfront walk, but many nuisance sellers. the big shopping centre (SM City, Malvar Avenue) has air conditioning, eating places, but is expensive. Rizal Avenue has banks, foreign exchange, but most only change money if you have an account. SM City has a change place in the supermarket but they only buy foreign money (i.e. you cannot cange peso to dollar, etc). We tried going to the lighthouses, but it is a military area, not possible. There is no real beach nearby, is all mangroves, avoid 'pristine beach'. We hired a moped, it is a long way to beach on north west coast (Nagtabon, beautiful), waterfall (Salakot, nice), mainly to get about locally. We did not do the underground river, mainly because the hotel provided taxi from the airport told us it was 500 USD ... shop around, on the last day we found out it was possible for about 70 USD / 3000 pesos.

Booked this hotel in Puerto Princesa again after our trip to El Nido because we had a very comfortable stay here. Something to add to my previous review is that this hotel also provides free water from the water dispenser located on each floor, and mugs are also provided for the guests. The hotel also has a unique feature of looking like a ship, and even the windows and corridors resembles like that of a ship. The balcony also overlooks toward the beach where you can watch beautiful sunsets and boats sailing.

We were made to feel truly special during our time here, and I've never experienced housekeeping of such a high standard. The room was spotless, and made up spotlessly each and every day! The bathroom was also stunning. It was a real shame the weather was really bad during our stay here, with severe flooding in Puerto Princesa that made travelling very challenging from the hotel. But the staff were superb, and continued to do everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel is located in a decent and central part of Puerto Princesa. Staff was kind and always eager to offer a smile. They offer great tips and booked our subterranean river tour at a decent price from the competition. We felt like we were staying at our relatives home as some family members lived on site. Breakfast was decent every morning and coffee was tasty. As a bonus, it is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and a fun food court (Pagetek Foodcourt).

Great location to base yourself for underground river tour, bakers hill, butterfly sanctuary, and Puerto Princesa sight seeing. Nice larger hotel for Puerto Princesa, . poolside room was super quiet. Breakfast was a great variety. Nice clean, large pool with plenty of sunlounger chairs. A little shop across the road sells most things, drinks, snacks, toiletries, alcohol etc
