We paid a flying visit arriving late Friday and departing the next day but it was ideal for us. Easy to find (by car) and just a short drive from the main drag. Breakfast worked for us and staff all spoke English which was helpful!

Czestochowa as a city has little to offer, despite its history. Even the holocaust memorial is tucked away behind a shopping mall on a piece of derelict land and if you weren't looking for it, you would be unlikely to stumble across it, which is both surprising and disappointing. But Jasna Gura is the saving grace - a stunning complex of monastery buildings and chapels atop a hill overlooking the city and containing many treasures of Poland's Catholic history. The stories it has to tell are fascinating and one cannot hope to fully understand Poland's social and religious history without a visit here. It's well worth a day of anyone's time, especially if you take a guided tour, which opens up the significance of this icon of religious history and national pilgrimage. Whatever one's religious standpoint may be, a visit to Jasna Gura is a trip inside the religious and spiritual psyche of the country that has been described as 'the crucified Christ of Europe.'

Częstochowa is a beautiful, clean city with rich history, fascinating attractions, delicious restaurants, and stunning murals throughout. For good Italian try Topollino, and for decadent deserts must try Czekoladowa Nuta.

The mistake I made was coming for one night.

The mistake I made was coming for one night. Our initial purpose was to see the black Madonna however a lot more of the city could be explored such as the parks by the monastery. There were stores I wish I could go into. I think two nights would have been enough to explore the city.

On Saturday and Sundays there is free parking in the cities...

On Saturday and Sundays there is free parking in the cities center, lots of restaurants. When visiting Jasna Gora be in time, the parking is nearby but it can be very busy meaning you'll have to walk a substantial distance. Overall a very nice and clean place with lots of restaurants (good food).

Parks are very beautiful and very peaceful.

Parks are very beautiful and very peaceful. The church and surrounding area was very beautiful also. Ally and all the fountains and iron sculptures interesting. If there is need for adventure, then can visit abondaned Miniature park. Also it's very easy to travel to nearby villages to see castles, they were amazing.

I know city well , recently come back but city became quiet...

I know city well , recently come back but city became quiet over the years . Plenty of good restaurants , cafes and bars in close center .Big Jasna Gora church worth to visit. Three indoor swimming pools in city, big shopping centre called Galeria Jurajska . Good transport around and cheap taxis .

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety to start the day. The owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and generosity made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Częstochowa!

Cozy hotel with very beautiful rooms. We stayed one night on the way to Estonia and the room we got was bigger than the entire apartment we live in. On the way back we stayed here again and had a very pretty room. 24h reception works great, parking either on the property or a few metres away on another parking space with loads of parking lots. Bonus: A parrot!

The location of the hotel is in a pretty good spot, once entering the hotel the cleanliness of the hotel was fascinating and I was flattered upon. The hotel has a kitchen and it is good enough to work with it.
