Just a very pretty, clean and safe town.
Just a very pretty, clean and safe town. It was our first time to Gliwice due to a concert, and we were pleasantly surprised how charming this town is.
It is full of colorful buildings, great cafeterias, restaurants, amazing ice cream. We also felt very safe walking back to the hotel during the night, everything was really well lit and marked. I would happily return to explore it more.

The time for visits I have always believed are relative to your purpose for the visit. In my case I was there for 3 days because this was the birthplace of my maternal grandparents and great grandparents. The city can be seen fully in two days. We stay at the Hotel Silvia Gold as it is centrally located to the city center with parking just outside the hotel. This can be critical as everyone knows in European cities and you are driving from place to place. The city has many excellent restaurants and virtually all of them were excellent both in service and food. Our visit was genealogical in nature but we still enjoyed the numerous museums and sites within the city.

Gliwice is a lovely little city in Silesia with easy connections to Katowice or better, Krakow! The people are kind, the rynek is lovely and full of activities. The city is super well-connected by buses and you can rent a bike if you don't want to walk :) There are lovely countryside trails for cycling in the spring and summer. There are lovely people to know. It's not a tourist destination but it is a lovely little Eastern-European town with character and easy access.

It is a beautiful, clean, and quiet city near Katowice in German style almost at the cross of A4 and A1 highways. Center\downtown is a typical Polish historical district with buildings mainly from the 1900 years. It deserves a few days to walk in the center, visit Palmarnia, the wooden radio tower, and the Villa Cairo museum.

Well- if you are coming here its probably not because of hunt for beautiful views or splendid architecture. It's not a world class tourist hub- just a little, kinda sleepy city. Do not take me wrong- there is nothing bad about it, it has its own, german-ish charm, nice restaurants, pleasant town square and is quite well connected- you should not be disappointed, just do not expect too much and you will be fine.

Apartment was clean and very much accesible to public transpo. Also very secure with access code to the building and the apartment.
It has all what we need in the apartment.
We enjoy the privacy and the facilities offered by the apartment. I highly recommend and would booked the same apartment when i visit gliwice again.

A cozy hotel with a very nice atmosphere. Good location, large illuminated park where you can walk your dog. The room is clean, the bed is very wide and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and there was enough choice. I would definitely come back.

Normal continental, European breakfast with various selection of a meals. There is the mini brewery at hotel's restaurant. Good, central location of the hotel in Gliwice, close to the old town. Hotel is located in the quiet part of the city.
