They left us a voucher for the coffee shop and wine house across the street, which has excellent prices. They are very pet friendly, so taking our dog was not an issue. They made themselves available for us to contact if anything went wrong. There is a mini market less than 100 meters away if you need to get something quick with reasonable prices as well.

This is a beautiful place to stay in the middle of nature. Everything in the house was prepared with so much love and attention to detail. We even had a warm fire waiting for us on a cold and rainy day. Absolutely recommend staying at Casinha Por do Sol!

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is the only hotel we stay at when we drive through this area. This is such an upscale boutique hotel at an extremely reasonable cost, in a quiet, scenic river setting. The rooms and beds are comfortable and 5 star. We love that even as upscale as this hotel is, they are dog friendly! The balconies are beautiful..I highly recommend the deluxe balcony. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, delicious homebaked pastries. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The personal attention they give the guests is another main reason why we keep coming back.
