Quite location but easily accessible to my points of interest

Amazing location for quite staying

Fantastic location facing the sea with a private balcony to watch the sunset. The pool was a delight after hiking all day and although it's not heated, it was clean and refreshing. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever had! Our room was quiet and there was zero noise from anywhere in the hotel. The aircon was a bonus too. Delicious breakfast! Fruits, pastries, cooked meals if required and a fantastic selection of fruit juices, tea and coffee to help yourself to. Exceptional food throughout our stay - from both the evening buffet meal (we paid extra for) and the 'snack' bar (which was excellent too, just better for us as we didn't need three courses). Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who always wanted to please!

Balcony with village and ocean view, good breakfast, coffee in the room and hotel's bee/manager who does everything there and laughs a lot, making good atmosphere.

Was in a beautiful area with amazing views. The hotel was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was initially disappointed there was no AC in the room but realized you didn’t need it - just kept the balcony door open and the breeze was adequate. Food was good, desserts were great.

Very comfy... Clean rooms, Several restaurants and very polite and friendly staffs. Very good breakfast and nice buffet for lunch and dinner. Choices are unlimited here.

Big variety of food, very friendly to vegetarians and food intolerances. Beautiful destination. One of 2 white sandy beaches available. Reception had many ideas for activities and could help with loads of suggestions. Quiet and family friendly crowd, great staff. Many organised activities. Exceptionally clean. Show every night with live music. The family suite was very big with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony and a kitchen.

Everything! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room ( we booked the larger one with a small kitchenette, worth it!) The view is amazing. The vegetables in between the vineyard were interesting to see. Everything and everyone was so detailed oriented.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! We had a beachfront room on the second floor, and as the weather was beautiful, we had the windows wide open while we were there, allowing the beach sounds and smells to drift in. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic little town, in a spectacular setting, with trails coming in from each side. We were gutted we only had the 1 night there, as it would've been quite easy to fill in another day or two. As it is, the hotel location is perfect for doing the popular Levada do Moinha hike, as the start is only a few kms away, uphill. The included breakfast is one of the best we've had on Madeira so far, with a wide variety of both hot and cold dishes. We made use of the gym, which is pretty small and basic, but were still able to get in a suitable chest/triceps workout. There is an indoor pool next to the open gym, which looked great (and was popular), however we didn't use it. One of the better things about the hotel, which we were unaware of until we were there, is the rooftop relaxation area. There are various chairs and couches there, some in the open, and some undercover, but all with a fantastic view over the neighbouring roofs and ocean. Free parking is available in the underground carpark. Having completed our tour of the island of Madeira, this hotel is the stand-out choice of all our accommodation options, and as I mentioned previously, is the one that we really wish we'd had another night or two to spend at!

Awesome view from this hotel combined with a great breakfast made this a real treat for us. Together with the great weather for this time of the year we really enjoyed the outdoor areas.

Breakfast was ASTOUNDING. Great people and service.
