This is a small rural location without the hype or shopping...
This is a small rural location without the hype or shopping etc. unless you’re going to this area for a reason it is not your typical holiday destination. Very quiet but the Hotel Adro de Charme is excellent. 20 minute drive to Tomar

We were staying nearby in January, house hunting.
We were staying nearby in January, house hunting. The town would have been much livelier in the holiday season! However there was a very good restaurant, not smart but super food, A Grelha do Zezere, which I would recommend. The reason people come here is for the nearby lake which is a centre for water sports. Also for the wonderful mountain setting.

Highly recommend this place!
The studio apartment was in perfect condition when we arrived and it had all the necessities for a pleasant getaway!!
Really well furnished. A simple but very cosy space. The pool was a nice extra in the package.
Location is also great, being close to the center of Ferreira do Zêzere (4 min.) and rather close to "Praia do Lago Azul" and Tomar (15 min.).
The staff was very friendly and had prepared a very detailed guide of the region (restaurants, activities, sightseeing, ...).

The staff were amazing, professional, helpful & knowledgeable. The design of the hotel is nice & comfortable. Lots of original parts left standing. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, fabulous to experience the real Portugal and the gorgeous Portuguese people. Lots of complimentary tea & coffee! A definite plus for us. Breakfast plentiful & tasty. About 15 mins drive from lovely Tomar.

The hotel itself is quite antique, it would probably require some renovation but the staff covered for this but being extra attentive and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the views were fantastic. You can use the catamaran for free and enjoy a nice swim in the river.
