Good Pleasant location, a little out of the center which we prefer. It's a short stroll to the main street. A friendly couple runs the place. We had a small misunderstanding about getting the bill with our NIF but luckily that was solved. The breakfast is simple but good.

Loved visiting the historic city of Tomar and the historic sights and posing with a Knights Templar. The Thomar Boutique Hotel is very nice, clean, and modern on the inside... and they have a very nice breakfast buffet.

The Town is well cared for, small and picturesque, with a lot of charisma. Many near by towns also easy accessible and only 80mins from Lisbon. The nature around brings peace and the people are pleasant.

Tomar is a beautiful city, with several interesting...

Tomar is a beautiful city, with several interesting locations and cafeterias. There're plenty of free parking lots near Letreiro "Tomar". Sure, the Convent and its gardens are important places to visit, but it's better to go there by car if you have one. Also, A Moagem - Fábrica das artes and around it. Parque do Mouchão is great for taking a walk or sitting with a drink on the bank. For food, I recommend Insensato Café-Livraria, and Le P'tit Français for French croissants.

We spent one night here on our way from Lisbon to Porto. 1 night was the perfect amount of time to tour the Knights of Templar snd Christ Convent. I appreciated that the hotel was able to book a car service to take us to Porto the next day.

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica...

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica from GuruWalk is highly recommended. She was brilliant and really enhanced our stay by showing us small things we would never have noticed. Tomar is a very pretty Portuguese town. Nearby are the monastaries of Alcobaca and Batalha both world heritage sites and easy to visit. Tomar was a great base for our visit.

Good location in the heart of Tomar. The room was very comfortable and clean; staff were helpful and considerate. They made the extra effort to have gluten-free bread for me at breakfast - something that many hotels and guest houses didn't do. I have celiac disease, so asked each property when booking whether their breakfast had gluten-free options. Most simply responded that there were options available - Thomar Story was one of the few that actually provided gluten-free bread.

The hotel location in Tomar is very close to the historic city center - monuments, restaurants and shopping. The way that the hotel has maintained the integrity of the older structure it is built upon is wonderful - from the old street stones in the lobby to the small architectural touches in the rooms. The lounge is very comfortable and a great meeting place.

Very plesent staff.15min walk to town and close to drive to nearby attractions. House was clean, comfortable and we were very thankful for the food that was provided. The pool was clean and clear with sun loungers. Parking is provided which is not a given in Portugal. It was quiet, secluded and secure. Would 100% recommend staying here.

- hotel probably the greenest of all the hotels in Tomar (next to a park, next to river) - both the city center and the castle is near by - built in 1967 so will suit you if you like that wooden vibe - amazing pool - pancake breakfast - family friendly, just beware - the railing on the balcony is lower than I'm used to from elsewhere
