On the banks of Nabão River, in the heart of Tomar city center, Thomar Story is located in a fully restored 19-century building. It combines history with contemporary interiors and free WiFi. Each room has an individual décor, with singular headboards and bits and pieces of Tomar history. All rooms have air conditioning, LCD TV and a modern overhead shower in the private bathroom. Thomar Story’s feature various restaurants and different dining options. Some rooms have their own kitchenette. Convent of Christ is around 10 minutes’ walking uphill from Thomar Story, and the pilgrimage city of Fátima is 19 mi away. Tomar Train Station is within 10 minutes’ walking from the Story, and Almourol Castle is less than a 30-minute drive.
