CanadaBedroom was separate from living area. Bed and pillows were adequate. Space was sufficient for a short stay. Shower was good. Plenty of hot water if you turn tap off when soaping up. Lots of odds and ends in the kitchen eg. spices, oil, vinegar, noodles. A toaster, which we have not always found in recent air b&b. Easy walk to a beautiful walking path along the water. Plenty of public parking very close to the apartment.

There were some nice restaurants near by and a grocers...
There were some nice restaurants near by and a grocers across the road. The beach was good and within easy walking distance. There was a convenient station for the train to Lisbon. The Uber drivers had a job finding the apartment though.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport...
Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

Brilliant flat close to the beach, a couple of markets, but quiet and comfortable. Comfy bed. Great shower. Really well-stocked kitchen in which I made all my meals, even though there were many restaurants and cafes nearby. The owner met me there and showed me how the locks worked, which was really good because they were tricky. If he hadn't done that, I would have been trying for ages and probably ringing him! A very enjoyable stay even though it was a business trip.

Bonvalot Guest House is as good as it gets. Firstly, the friendliness of the staff makes it feel like you are staying at home and you feel extremely welcome into the property. The house is very beautiful, modern but classical with style and just a short stroll to Praia Paco de Arcos, or Parque Das Poetas. I loved my time here so much I stayed here twice!

Over all, the amazing views is Paço de Arcos, the proximity of an spa, the beach, the train station to be in Lisbon in just 1/2 an hour. Plenty of restaurants, coffees, supermarkets, and the local people, always nice to you.
