The check-in was smooth. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night and felt very blessed to have such a big house. The facilities are impressive and very comfortable. It was very clean and smelled really nice. It had a lot of parking space. In the night we enjoyed staying in the patio looking at the stars... priceless... One of the simplest yet best experiences we've had in Madeira so far.

Everything! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room ( we booked the larger one with a small kitchenette, worth it!) The view is amazing. The vegetables in between the vineyard were interesting to see. Everything and everyone was so detailed oriented.

Was in a beautiful area with amazing views. The hotel was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was initially disappointed there was no AC in the room but realized you didn’t need it - just kept the balcony door open and the breeze was adequate. Food was good, desserts were great.

Big variety of food, very friendly to vegetarians and food intolerances. Beautiful destination. One of 2 white sandy beaches available. Reception had many ideas for activities and could help with loads of suggestions. Quiet and family friendly crowd, great staff. Many organised activities. Exceptionally clean. Show every night with live music. The family suite was very big with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony and a kitchen.

Prazeres is a small village.

Prazeres is a small village. It does have a restaurant and a bar but that's about it - we did not hang out there much. You can do a levada walk that starts from Prazeres, which is nice, and close by (~15 min drive) are Calheta beach, Paul do Mar, and Jardim do Mar, which are tiny beach villages which have a couple of nice restaurants. The north coast and Funchal are at a 40 minutes drive. If you have a car, the location is nicely located; if you don't, I wouldn't choose this spot, because there isn't much to do in Prazeres itself.
